  • Yes, this confused me. Also wouldn’t unregulated capitalism just end with one company in the end?

  • What’s funny is not everyone gets credits anymore. 3rd party vendors have limits on how many names can go in the credits now.

  • As much as I hate to say it, I’d still much rather go to google and search reddit, than go on any other website google proposes. Everything is just trying to get you to buy nonsense or scroll through a 10 page article for a one sentence solution that is probably outdated.

  • Roguelikes seem to be the norm for indie titles and smaller games now. Bigger chance for replayability. If I don’t get used to it, then I’ll be buying fewer games or just finishing up my back catalog.

  • The YouTube comments look favorable, so I may add this to my list.

  • Pete Davidson bought a whole collection of VHS tapes on ebay, maybe you can find a buyer.

  • I could never get into the original game, as that kind of play isn’t for me. The company dedicates so much time into lore that their main players don’t seem to care about, so it’s nice seeing it come to life in other ways.

  • I think I am maybe 75% through Convergence

I fell in love with the League of Legends lore, after Arcane. So I am trying to play some of their side games while they still exist.

Overall pretty enjoyable. It doesn’t particularly do anything new with time, that other games haven’t already done, but it takes those mechanics and puts them into one game.

  • Super Mario World was the first video game I played.

  • I have so many Ps+ games I never got to finish back then. Me finishing a game in a month was essentially my version of a speed run.

  • I was playing Hades when it was in netflix games, and then they removed it right after I started. I will likely wait a while before buying it.

  • Just finished Children of Morta. It was a very fun game. It has system that encourages you to play as all the characters, which I honestly thought I would hate, but it was fun getting to cycle. It had a decent story for being a rogue lite game, but I will likely be taking a break from the genere.

I will try to chip away at Age of Calamity some more.

  • I will be one of those not playing it yet!

  • Lost Girl was pretty decent. The main character is bi.

A couple of years short of your timeline, but Riverdale had a couple on the show.

  • I believe it was originally supposed to be a kiss that ended the show, but they didn’t get their way.

  • I agree tipping should go away, but I’m wondering how those economics would work out? Most food places barely break even, I can’t see anyone being able to pay their servers more, so they would still pass that onto the customers.

Add to this that people aren’t really smart. I remember some time ago, some places testing out paying their waiters, plus showing how much food would be with tax included with no surprised. People preferred paying more with tipping, the big price sticker drove business away.

  • That would also be true! Which means we are all aliens inside.

  • I don’t believe in reincarnation, but one thing that isn’t mentioned enough is that there aren’t enough “souls” for everyone to have a reincarnation. If you rewind the clock back, once the original (for the sake of this exercise) 100 people died, the next generation would have 200-300 people already alive due to multiple children, which means they would halve mostly new souls. Fast forward to today, I’d imagine a lot of people would have baby souls.

  • The right one definitely looks like it would be more high end.
