  • One side is literally advocating for inclusivity, while the other is arguing against it, my man.

  • Generally speaking, memes aren't being used to make money...whereas AI is almost exclusively being used to profit off of someone else's content.

  • Why? Because he's a legal US citizen that isn't white? What the actual fuck are they even mad about?

  • LGBTQ rights are workers rights. We're all in this together. The ones arguing against those rights, are the ones being divisive. Support for equal rights, should never be a question.

I do also understand where Nutomic is coming from, though. Using these issues to create that division is cynical politics, and that is a problem. But that should never be used as an excuse to drop the fight for equality.

  • The cello. Fuckin' love it.

  • I genuinely thought that was part of "the joke".

  • You think it maybe also had something to do with the blackface?

  • I really liked parts of it...from themes to characters...but found it really hard to sit through, most of the time. They had a really annoying way of rehashing everything that happened, after-the-fact...as if we needed to be constantly reminded about details that were literally from ten minutes ago.

It reminded me of the dialogue formats used in cheesy Mexican telenovelas. You can't mention someone's name, without also including a brief description of who they are related to, and what they've previously done. No one talks like that in real life. Especially when the person you're talking to, was right there with you when that event took place.

If you remove all the superfluous dialogue, then the actual length of each episode, was less than 20 minutes.

  • There's no such thing as "slowly" when it comes to that much mass.

  • Yes. This is exactly where the word "removed" comes from. Now that you are, there is no going back. You can either live with your rage, or do something to fix the problem. It's up to you.

If you want to know who to trust, look for the ones that are trying to help others, and help them.

  • Fire. Lots and lots of fire.

  • Gotta make up for all those cancelled subscriptions over the weekend.

  • Armed or unarmed? Armor might help you not die for a while...but without weapons, there isn't much a person could do to kill a lion.

  • It only counts if they get shot in the neck first.

  • Is this in response to the left's Charlie Kirk reactions...or is he making this statement unironically?

  • I think you're missing the fundamental point that I'm making. Her "burning bridges" with Disney doesn't matter. Why would they care about that? Her blowing up her own career isn't going to impact their decisions at all.

How would her taking a stand here, convince Disney to reinstate Kimmel's show...or in any way change their current course? She has no leverage.

The only way to accomplish anything, is if Disney has something to lose.

  • I was talking about her beef with Disney over them cancelling her show. She's already suffered those consequences. This doesn't change that. It just gets people talking about her again.
