  • I would assume they will for things like the built in steam controller antenna and whatever other custom parts they have but I was more saying that all the drivers for their hardware (and to a lesser degree the other hardware they’re supporting like the rog ally) should be included and maintained as part of steamos.

  • The steam machine is also guaranteed to have official driver support for everything on the board which is definitely not the case if you install steamos on any given gaming pc

  • It’s roughly two-thirds of a 6750xt or half of a 3080 so yeah definitely not

  • Depends on how expensive it is, what kind of license the paid version has, how willing I am to support the creator. Music I’ll try and get from bandcamp or failing that an actual cd from their site of I really must. TV I’ll usually just look harder and settle for a worse quality than I’d prefer.

  • They said only that it is “a thing they already have” there could be literally anything, though they said it was dented which makes me think it’s not a printer

  • They want to improve your life by giving you something which is not broken and assumedly works better than whatever you’re using now. You are rejecting that because of your insistence that things must be old. They know you will never get it for yourself, and maybe they think you’re just being cheap. It probably hurts them seeing you use what to them looks like a piece of crap. It’s really hard to say without knowing what the actual items involved are In just speculating.

  • I was assuming just animation in general. Something like grave of the fireflies or takopi, parasyte etc.

  • Yeah it’s just barely gorier than your standard shonen.

  • Demon hunter is like a 6 on my scale lol

  • Yeah this thing looks way too anemic but the rest of the announcements are great. I hope we eventually get a pro sku when the ai bubble pops and gpu prices return to some semblance of sanity but I know that’s mosty the copium talking.

  • I remember that they recreated this in the it guys office in Deus Ex: Human Revolution

  • And it doesn’t use a cable so it’s physically incompatible with anything else regardless of whether it would be electronically compatible

  • I would look for something that works for the switch 2 as that has proprietary lockout stuff that needs to be accounted for, the steam deck should work with anything that uses the usual standards I think

  • Yeah I mean I don’t hate it exists but I wouldn’t expect it to make a ton of money

  • They didn’t make much money off alan wake 2 after locking it on epic and not printing a physical copy for the console people for a year (and even then was only a limited deluxe and collector’s edition release). This seemed like a hail mary to try and get that sweet gaas money, but I imagine the overlap between people who play games like control and people who are willing to dump endless money on the live service game of the week skins is pretty small.

  • Unless that person leaves and the system they implemented remains

  • Well it’s irrelevant until they announce the thing anyways

  • I hope they didn’t remove the dpad and a joystick that’d be a dealbreaker for me

  • The sequel is really good too, and more of a proper 3d metroidvania iirc
