  • When I was 10, after a full day or playing in the surf with my best friend on a secluded beach on the west coast of Java, I got a massage from this old lady, we called her "Iron Fingers" as the sun went down. And yes I did recreate it 30 years later. And it was glorious.

  • The death penalty is incredibly stupid for more than one reason.

    1. If someone committed a crime that egregious, they should be punished every day, and you should help them live as long as possible.
    2. So many innocent people are put to death because our system for determining guilt is far from righteous, or right.
    3. You don't talk about Fight Club.

  • I smoked for 30 years, but when I moved to a different state, the day I moved is the day I quit smoking. It worked super well. Haven't smoked since.
