  • Companies are better at getting their shitty product/spammy pages to the top of search results than Google is able to find high quality pages to show you.

    Google has to create algorithms to judge pages based on their content and get good results , companies only have to fine tune their pages to match the algorithm.

  • I generally don’t just because i enjoy the freedom of wiggley toes, but I’m not adverse to it either.

    Theres no snow or mud where I am and most of the places I walk in are cleaned daily (Work, shops). Honestly its just not a big deal for me here in Australia, shit people walk down the street or in stores with no shoes at all, so who cares eh. Bit of dust gets on the floor at home big deal, ill clean it on a weekend.

  • No you’re missing the point, unless you live in a location that has laws to force companies to actually delete your data, they won’t actually delete it and thus deleting your account will achieve nothing.

  • I teach younger ages but my favourite things are cards or artwork that the kids have made. I find the intention and effort behind them most rewarding.

    Other than that I don’t mind a good gift card.

    Hate chocolate and mugs, I have so much uneaten chocolate and so many mugs I don’t use. But I’m not a big chocolate person anyway, so my preference there may not match others.

    If she’s still young like you said, she probably hasn’t gotten that many notes of appreciation so for sure add one along with whatever you give as the emotional support they provide gets you through shit days knowing that your sacrifice is valued.
