I'll do this later...

  • I can and do donate to the Lemmy project. I should also donate to the instances I use. I'll donate for you as well, I don't even need Netflix.

  • You have to be a paying customer to use that app IIRC.

  • Super Smash Bros Plus Ultra

  • I prefer an MP3 player over my phone. Here is the one I use. Why I like this one:

    • Dedicated device designed for music.
    • Hardware designed to play high quality music. (Think using Ubuntu vs Ubuntu Studio for music production)
    • Dedicated buttons instead of all touch screen.
    • More options for integration with other devices or systems
    • No distractions. Phones nowadays demand our attention for every little thing. Every app, no matter what it is, has notifications.
    • The Bluetooth is better.
    • You can literally hear the difference in the quality of the music if you use good quality headphones/ear buds. The same song, same file, will not sound the same if it's a good quality FLAC.
  • They're clearly using shaming tactics. By calling it a "tantrum" they try to make those mods look childish. In reality the mods demanded something to make their jobs easier, the company refused, so they parted ways.

  • Good times huh. I felt the same way when I was playing old PC games. I might just pick up Deus Ex again.

  • I did something similar except I wrote a C# program and used AvaloniaUI to build a cross-platform GUI. It was a project to learn C#. I have to make some updates to that now that I think about it...

  • I wish MediMonkey was on Linux...

  • I just have my music collection in Playlist and use Audacious to play them. All the music in the Playlist are saved in relative format so I can just copy the folders and keep the same Playlists

  • I have my DB synced with my Nextcloud instance. Then I just sync that instance with the Steam Deck.

  • You know sometimes both are correct.

  • I've been using KeePassXC for years and can't live without it... because it has all my passwords.

  • It's also as safe as the user allows. You can put in all the safety measures but that means nothing if the use disables them for convenience.

  • Didn't Microsoft do a study on security vulnerabilities and found that the overwhelmingly number of bugs was due to memory management?

  • Mozilla.ai is a new startup and community funded with 30M from Mozilla that aims to build trustworthy and open-source AI ecosystem

  • I would really like Mozilla to make the best browser in the world please.

  • Powershell is already available for Linux

  • Ripe for some dark web abuse
