  • Yes it is, because the HW is completely unnecessary, you can emulate it perfectly on a potato. It only serves a nostalgic purpose, which is also fine, but in all other aspects it is completely obsolete.

  • No it's the anti-autism genes that are stored in the foreskin...obviously

  • Except for a fairly tiny niche community of users still using them for nostalgia reasons, the NES is absolutely also ancient and obsolete in every way and has been for several decades.

  • That's not them bricking it though. Yes it's shitty build quality, but that is an entirely different issue than them bricking equipment that still is very much functional from a HW perspective.

  • In sonarr/radarr you just select hardlinking instead of copy in the appropriate dropdown menu in settings and that's it. Nothing else needs to be done if they share the same storage.

  • OP is just a troll

  • Fair phone maybe?

Outdated HW and doesn't have graphene support.

  • It's at least beginning to be mentioned in the national media where I live, and people are generally opposed. Unfortunately the current government seems to completely ignore the voice of the people.

  • I have no trust that lifetime is in fact lifetime, and the price is also too high compared to the product value IMO.

  • I refuse to support companies with subscription based business models.

  • The free tier limitation is that it doesn't work with jellyfin

  • "Continue show" often doesn't work and picks an episode that I've watched long ago and not the next in line, often never updating it despite watching several episode over several weeks, even if they're marked as "seen". After pausing a show or movie and closing the app, if I want to continue from where I left off, well that doesn't work consistently either, usually it will just restart from the beginning. Switching language pretty much just doesn't work at all, it will either never change from default audio language, or use an entirely different language than the one picked from the list.

  • Jeælyfin also has this, is just doesn't work on appleTV

  • Yeah that's the one I'm using on our appleTV, it's buggy as hell. All these things work perfectly fine from a browser or official app on android.

  • Is there something better than jellyfin? I've been using it for a little over a year, and it works for the most part, but clients are often pretty buggy (especially on apple apple devices)

  • It still can't be done 100% unless you make significant sacrifices to the usefulness of your smartphone...there's plenty of really useful (and sometimes necessary) things with no FOSS or open source alternatives.

  • OK the toolboxes can be difficult to find 1:1 replacements for, but you can find plugins for most things in SciLab so you don't need to reinvent the wheel. The general workflow is very similar to MATLAB, but not identical so there is of course a learning curve. Everyone I know is more or less weaning off MATLAB because it's just too damn expensive and locked to their platform.

  • Do you specifically need MATLAB? Because there is SciLab which is free and pretty much does the same.

  • The law didn't mess up the internet, asshole business owners with their bullshit malicious compliance (and spineless devs enabling them) messed up the internet.
