  • ai faces

  • Remember ashley: only you can truly know and say who and what you are. Somone telling you, that you're not a girl, does not change anything about you. You got this, and things will get better!

also, did you type this out on a terminal emulator? the font fits that green a at the cent could be from ashley@thinkpad or sth as the username@hostname things seems to be green most of the time

  • If it keeps you from living a happy life, it's never "the right thing to do" to stay with someone, be that your "family", bad "friends" or whoverer else. If you can find a way out of that mess and into a better place, take it.

  • German Grammar Fun Fact: In german, "you" is either "dich" when directed at a single person, or "euch", when directed at a group of people (or some super stuck up noble person, which luckily dont exist anymore in todays germany).

This GGFF has been brought to you by: 🤓 the nerd emoji

  • I dont watch too many series/movies. Never payed for streaming, planning on never doing so because of all that bullshit. I prefer my media on stamped and metallized plastic discs that work offline, or plain DRM-free video/audio files on my HDD.

  • idk, only been chilling on ChilloutVR for a year now

  • so these would be versatile then?

  • i would just use tar and write a script 1990s style, but encryption support + multi-volume (tapes are LTO-2, so only 200GB uncompressed) won't work with that

  • for me, opening my music folder in Picard (available for download at https://picard.musicbrainz.org/) and clicking "analyze" was enough

are you sure you are not mixing up MusicBrainz (the Metadata Database) with MuiscBrainz Picard (the tool to put metadata on files)

  • plugging random old USB stuff into a computer:

linux: I guess this looks kind of like a webcam. Here you go, /dev/video0

windows: nooo! what is this?! go search for divers that dont register a hit on virustotal! see you in an hour.

  • try musicbrainz picard for the metadata

  • kids should not work nor "have to" work. they should have fun, get educated and well... be kids. they have more than 40 years down the road to suffer in a cubicle

  • where image? (you can edit in one after the fact)

  • the capacity would be the same. the runtime is just lower because you draw more power

if you draw the same wattage (NOT amperage)from a 3Series or 3Paralell pack, it will last for the same time

  • stamp serial in cheese wheel, then sign that number (or sth else) cryptographically and load that into the chip. have some server to check if your serial is uniqe and signed tho yiu could just stamp a qr code into the cheese and make them register the serial on the uniqe-ness server

  • i suggest a raspberry pi or similar single-board computer with either LibreELEC (good for local/NAS files or jellyfin) or a build of androidTV installed

  • 30GB of music on an SD card, because my phone cant do LTE and is stuck on EDGE. If you have old CDs, spend an evening watching YT or something while putting in a new disc every few minutes, otherwise download from youtube with Newpipe/Seal/yt-dlp or buy stuff on bandcamp. Probably saves you a couple 100 megs of data volume each month
