  • I don’t play drum/guitar mania, but the support is all there (albeit the guitar hero/taiko modes are all recently added so they’re not nearly as mature as dance/pump/technomotion, etc.

  • I am a themer for Project Outfox: check us out; all you need is the guitar 😉

  • That’s Texas…?

  • I spent 3 weeks in Thonotosassa in 2015, and Jesus Christ was downtown Tampa sad. It just was devoid of any culture or any reason to be down there. The Columbia Restaurant and Ybor City walk was fire though and made up for it a little bit; it just wasn’t enough to make up for the rest of the city being dreary.

  • Miami was never liberal. It was always a sort of libertarian with certain key issues like anti communism, pro masculinity, pro protectionism, pro small government. We saw them swing right in 2024, but if those were major issues in past elections, we would’ve seen a red Miami sooner. Miami is full of people that have an attitude problem imho.

  • Miami is Miami, St David is probably one of the safest cities in the country. It’s the Mormon college town home to Brigham university.

  • Miami and Saint David, UT come to mind. Outside the US though, lots of the Balkan major cities are much less liberal than western cities.

  • Truth is, if you’re not descended from the original colonists, every African American has lineage in the US farther back.

“White” in America is actually a moving goalpost that has been moving since literally the founding of the colonies. “Whites” at the founding of America were Anglo Saxons literally defined as being “English”, who are descended from Germans who subjugated the natives of the British isles (NOT THE IRISH, NOR THE SCOTS). “Whites” today now comprise literally every fair skinned ethnic background that isn’t east Asian. I shit you not, I think Hispanics who are fair skinned will be the next group subsumed into the white category, followed by fair skinned East Asians. Based on the American definition of white, I, darker than some light skinned African Americans, am white. Middle Easterners are legally considered white because, I shit you not, the Supreme Court in the early 20th century considered Jesus to be white by definition, and since Jesus was middle eastern, middle easterners must also be considered “white”.

  • Very much comedienne. She had a talk show for like a decade starting in the 90s.

  • Poutain cochon ceci ^

  • American transport outside of subway systems is literally unusable in most cases. The bus in my city of 1M+ people takes 1.5 hours to go about 20 minutes of distance by car. In some cases I can beat the bus to a destination on my bicycle.

  • France because I’m A2 in French, Spain if I could pick anywhere.

  • This person is seriously underselling how expensive Teton county is. It’s literally millionaires and locals who are now millionaires, or locals who are so poor they only stick around to work in hospitality. Any given “pretty” image from Wyoming is most certainly taken in Teton county as they’ve said above.

  • I’m from the Boston area, lived in rural NH as well as in Lawrence:

If you move to Wyoming, you will regret it. It’s got the coldest weather in the country outside northern Alaska with killer wind chill worse than Minnesota. Yeah, 2 hours away from doctors sucks, but now imagine that in the winter, driving conditions being the same thing as 495 after a snowstorm but constant. In retirement, for me, I don’t think it’s wise to fight against weather… I get that the city and hot weather isn’t for everyone, but if you’re looking for temperate weather that won’t kill you, look into Eureka, CA or Coos Bay, OR; those places are basically Boston springtime but all year round. They’re also small communities and absolutely not rat races like Boston can be.

  • A single party like Mexico’s PRI party isn’t the answer either…
