  • yeah, I live in a town with really clean fresh tap water (the water taste won some award in 2016) and so whenever I go anywhere else, especially inland, I cannot stand the taste of the water. I'll drink it, but it isn't an enjoyable experience in most places other than where I live.

  • agreed.

  • I'm very picky when it comes to pickles. I don't like the taste of standard dill pickles, only garlic dill pickles. I have only found two brands that make them the way I like them.

  • Also a lot of things that were considered automations before are now rebranded to ai. They are still often good as well.

  • probably not much less, but you could definitely get wired ones with a much better build quality

  • Definitely animal well. When I played it out was the coolest sense of discovery that I had ever felt playing a game, and it kept going for so long. I would play it whenever I had a spare minute, especially if I had an idea for a puzzle. I'm not great at normal puzzle games, my brain just doesn't work like that, but I love exploration and easy puzzles and animal well really scratched that itch for me in a way no other game has.

Aside from that, I wouldn't be surprised if I had like 10,000 hours in Minecraft, since that's pretty much the only video game I like to play, and I've been playing it for almost ten years. Not an addiction though, I only play when I have the time and the desire.

  • I don't know about THE worst, but every single thing I ate while at Disney land was pretty fucking bad. I had some barbeque skewers with my dad that were extremely bland, dry, and flavourless. I also had some sort of pink sugary drink that tasted kind of weird. My brother said his hotel burger had a really bad musk to it

  • Wow that's amazing!

  • Those sort of open restrooms are by far my favourite kind. They always feel so open and nice.

  • From f-droid:

Shelter is a Free and Open-Source (FOSS) app that leverages the "Work Profile" feature of Android to provide an isolated space that you can install or clone apps into.

For a full description, please read from the Git repository of Shelter. A summary is provided below.

The main use-cases of Shelter include:

    • Installing apps inside a work profile for isolation
    • "Freeze" apps inside the work profile to prevent them from running or being removedn up when you are not actively using them
    • Installing two copies of the same app on the same device
  • Yeah, unless it's my ISP I doubt it's that. I have checked and I don't have a DNS blocker active on my phone, and I'm on my home Wi-Fi.

  • Interesting! Is your vision still good other than nearsightedness? I wonder if there are other methods of labeling vision that could more accurately describe that.

  • How would I configure that? I use shelter to add apps to the work profile, basically to containerise them.

  • A local joint which I will not name, but they're basically like shake shack. The food used to be way better than shake shack, but unfortunately now it's just on par with shake shack. (Still great though). The fries however are perfect.

  • I guess in your case that's true. It probably depends on how the device is set up a bit.

  • In practice, it isn't trivial to use android as a computer like you would in a linux-based system, installing desktop apps and stuff. It's definitely doable, but although one of based on the other they are very different systems in day-to-day use.

  • One warning for Boox, although I definitely reccomend the device, the first-party support can be lackluster, so if you're in a country where BOOX is on Amazon I would reccomend buying through there since Amazon has a better returns service.
