  • Nope, I never let anything automatically withdraw money. Mistakes are made. And sure, you'll get your money back from the accidental 10k that was pulled from your account....in 5 to 10 business days, until then you are broke and shit is bouncing.

  • I use a Pi running LibreElec....basically packages OSMC.

    Plug it into a smart TV with HDMI and your tv remote can control the Pi OSMC Interface...no need for a separate remote...I was pleasantly surprised at that.

  • If I could retire now I would. But living in the US is expensive and gets more expensive every year. From real estate taxes or rent, from insurance, from cost of food, from basic utilities like electric, heat, gas... Neverind if you want a hobby, or a vacation, or Any leisure activities.....

    Every time I leave my house it costs me $100 no matter what I am doing.

    There's no way I would have enough money to retire comfortably.

    Problem is, even if you delete the Images, Google has already scraped them for info on you and used your Google account and phone number to tie it all together to further its data aggregation profile on you.

    Been running nextcloud for 8+ years. Love the auto upload and bookmark sharing apps.

    The contacts and calendar apps support DAV....I use DAVx on android to sync contacts and calendar to nextcloud ....haven't sync'd to Google. Grab it from FDroid. I have an article on my web blob explaining how to do it.

    Remember to backup your cloud data and secure your web portal or run over private vpn.

    Oh and go find the php updater script...it's a life saver.

  • Mint is a great choice for windows converts. The UI closely matches what you are used to.

    Mint and Ubuntu are both fine and have a huge support base so you'll always find help.

  • My company required everyone come back to the office. My team works in a terminal, we can do our work from anywhere. Everyone of my department went back in. I said no.

  • Went to Disney last year. Never again. Lines are too long, you must use a phone app to get 'fast access's to rides, but fast access is now just normal access. Standby waits are over an hour for all rides. Some rides had no standby, so no phone app, no going on that one. Oh and the phone app has limited space that I found out is usually gone 5 min after opening at 6 am or some shit.

    I had to wait 2 hours for jungle cruise while watching a non stop line of fast pass people just constantly walking on.

    It's too crowded, elbow to elbow people.

    Still 20.00 for a crap hamburger.

    Tickets were like 380 for 2 of us.

    Save your money and leave Disney for the foreign stupid tourists
