  • I will grieve for a bit, and I will adapt. Humans can get used to anything.

  • I have been in similar situation but without the chronic illness. What has worked for me:

    1. Maximise time outside. Try group activities, where people can take care of you if something happens, and give your a rides to and from meeting spot. Check if library or other institution has some sort of help program.
    2. Get money. Find a job you can do. Any job wil do.
    3. Move out asap.

The first step to heal is to not be in danger.

I hope for your success. I have walked through hell, and somehow I survived. All this effort was worth it.

  • You find out […] you have sever social anxiety.

I go outside to become better regardless of fediverse.

  • Break the system so hard that you need to reinstall the system.

Blender is cool but without a lot of guidance it is impossible to use. Blockbench is easier, and they could figure out how to put their creation inside Minecraft.

Pivot animator but it would need to run under wine/proton

Make a song, I would look into bosca ceoil blue and audacity.

  • Having this “backstory” (for lack of a better term), is what drives me forward, without those memories, like if I get a concussion and forgot everything, I wouldn’t really be… well… “me” anymore

Emotional memories is how we develop a sense of self. So if you are really attached to who you are then it will be terryfing to loose who you are.

But we can do really wacky stuff with our memories. We can delude ourselfs into makeing new false memories or misremembering them.

Also you constantly get new memories and change who you are, so you aren't the same person as you were years ago.

I have grown up without that sense of self and I had to sculpt one from the ground up. So I am not really terrified of loosing the sens of self as I can make one once again. It will be different but it will still be ME.

  • I had Sony CH-WH710n and no major problems.

Try to pair the headphones via bluetoothctl and see if there are any errors in the logs.

Do you dual boot windows? In my case it couldn't pair to both at the same time without extracting the keys.

I would try to see if windows pairs up with the headphones, after all other troubleshooting steps are exhausted.

  • the begging when the gimmick is presented, and the end when everything is at stake.

Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe Skip Button. It filled me with so much dread.

  • Scenario 1: For me it won't be a matter of friendship or liking me. It would be a matter of duty. I would have a duty to save myself. Scenario 2: Oh…

  • It's true for infotaiment stuff but for boring knowladge not so much. If you seek textbooks and recordings of lectures, there is still a lot of great stuff out there. It's boring as ditch water but boring is good.

  • Definitely not. I am playing timeguesser and there is distinct change pre 2020 and post 2020

  • They didn't come out yet, but yeah. I have 9th top tooths, not bottom tho. I did find out twice. I had xray but forgot about it after the first time.

  • Sometimes the idea of doing something is more appealing than actually doing something.

Usually I just let go of the desire as daydreaming isn't something I want to spend my time doing.
