I want reddit to pay the server costs for hosting the image while letting lemmy people enjoy it and I wanted to include the Tumblr commentary too. Is there a better way to accomplish this goal?
I'm actually a big fan of my steel series mouse, but that is just because it was the only thing I could find that was ambidextrous and with side buttons on both sides.
If a mouse is ambidextrous but only has side buttons for right handed people it isn't ambidextrous!
Even the best steel series keyboards are overpriced and unexceptional though.
Clean keycaps with denture tablets, move up to soap and water with a sponge if needed, flitz polish as a last resort (it will wear the caps down, other two are perfectly safe). Caps are doubleshot iirc so no risk of wearing off the legends.
Retrobrite at your own peril. I do not advise. That said, only ABS plastic goes yellow with age, so the same techniques for retrobriting will work on both caps and case.
Cleaning the spring with conventional rust removers is up to you but the springs will rust again so I say to leave the rust on to protect against future rust. Oiling the springs would help though.
The guy on the left looks like the "I had to do it to them" guy in pose. Clipped off the top of the frame in the background is the "I had to do it to them" guy.
So the thing with judiasm is that God is perfect, God made the rules, and the rules have loopholes (such as this one with the oven) therefore the loopholes are intended and exploiting them just shows how much attention you pay to the rules and how religious and observant you are.
Glad you enjoyed the video! The unicomps really are extremely similar to the model Ms of 1985. It is funny how there has been less change to this model of board through 4 decades and 3 companies making them than there was in the prior 10 years of IBM's keyboards!
I guess by 1985 they found pretty much the perfect design for a keyboard lol
