  • Lemmur is dead. It got resurrected as Liftoff.

  • I've tried Jerboa, Connect, Thunder, Liftoff, Lemmotif, and the PWA. Jerboa has the best interface/ux imo, by far. Thunder is the least buggy to use, and the developer is a machine, doing constant updates. These 2 I think have the most potential.

  • You mean to tell me that apps made by community volunteers as a labor of love in a couple of weeks are better than the app made by a for-profit company and has been developed for years? Funny how that works.

  • Even if a post is a couple of days old, I feel like I can still comment and be part of the conversation here. On Reddit, if you miss the first few hours, your comment will probably be unseen, so why bother?

  • Yeah I agree. Her face expressions alone are award-winning worthy.

  • I'm a fan of horror in general, but I don't have a lot of time to watch movies, so when I do, I get really picky about what to watch. So let me tell you, Hereditary did NOT dissapoint. Probably my faviorate horror movie.

I watched it with a couple of friends after midnight. We joked throughout the movie, and it still made us feel nervous. The acting, the sound/music, and the unexpected story line are all perfect. The casual grandma "ghost" at the start sets it up to be a generic ghost haunting story, which made the actual storyline of demons/cult more impressive. Not sure if that was the reason for the scene, because it was genuis.

The scene where Annie is standing on the wall in the background, and hitting the attic door with her head made me shit bricks.

The ending was a bit confusing at first (calling Peter Charlie for example), but after reading some explanations online, I think its a great ending.

Also the amount of small details is mindboggling. Seeing the chuclkboard being purchased by Joanne for example. Makes rewatching the movie a must.

    Amazing movie overall.
