  • Radical but not logical. Make a post about a violent criminal who murders someone. And then poll the community if that criminal should get the death penalty. And I'll bet the majority would say no and be against the death penalty for all convicted criminals. But those same people have no problem cheering on the murder of someone that they don't like. If a person can live with this contradiction I'd guess that they just aren't thinking for themselves but following a crowd.

  • If your question is serious there are 2 things to do. First recognize the fact that if you believe that you are a loser you will come off that way to other people. When a guy lacks all confidence others can "smell" it on him like a dog. If you stay in that rut it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy that you will always be a loser. 2ND - Don't waste your time with bars and dating sites. Find clubs in your area. Stuff like hiking or biking, trips to art shows, anything that is going to have both males and females. You will find many females in these clubs who are there for the same reason as you. To meet someone. Get to know them a bit and then ask them to join you for coffee or a drink. And don't get discouraged if you get turned down on your first few attempts. Consider them practice. Eventually someone will say yes.

  • Agreed. You are really referring to the fact that so many now belong to some kind of hive. They no longer think for themselves. And since being a member of a specific hive gives their life meaning, they defend it against anything or anyone that disagrees with it. I'd bet that I would have points of agreement with 99% of all posters and commenters if everyone just thought for themselves

  • If you are having sex with a woman it is necessary to be fully erect. This may require some hand manipulation by the female. If their body is attractive enough you can achieve a full erection just by looking at them. As you thrust into them you will quickly reach an edge point. If you want to last longer you break your rhythm of thrusting. When you resume you will eventually hit that edge and once you get there, there is no turning back. You will start to ejaculate. And it feels great. A release. Depending on who you are doing this with your brain will become like jelly for a few minutes. When you are all done you will feel great.

  • I only use lemmy.world and find it more open to free speech than reddit ever was. Reddit has gotten worse over the years. I was never a big reddit user, but just a few weeks ago I was in a non political non controversial group. None of my comments violated the rules. Out of the blue I was banned. I was scratching my head. I was told that the asshole mod of the group went through my post and comment history and found "one" comment unrelated to the group in question that they didn't like and therefore banned me. The mods and Admins over there are dedicated to the hive mind. I am never going back

  • About 20 hours. Half it was on a 10 hour flight and no matter how much booze I poured down my throat I just couldn't fall asleep
