  • The company I work for is an Azure shop. However, our provider for customer 2fa tokens uses AWS.... So still in trouble.

  • A lot of the time I paid to have it taught to me so badly that I would have been better off with a textbook. 😢

They then call me up once every few years to ask for a donation! Fk off, I'm still paying off the loan!

  • I would argue that its rare for education to make you smarter, it mostly makes you more knowlegable.

Knowledge is mostly free though. You can get it from the internet, from the library etc. A lot of what you are paying for is the certification - some places let you just sit the exam I think.

  • But if everyone else is down too, you don't look so bad 🧠

  • It just needed the AMD compatibility plugin, lots of time wasted until someone pointed that out though.

  • Good point. I got 1 year of ultimate, with the plan to upgrade to perpetual if it was good (it is!).

The cost of that is still less than the cost would have been to buy new matching drives.

  • Has a nice UI, let's me mix and match disks, let's me host docker containers plus a VM with gpu pass through.

All basically out of the box. (Ok - Pass through was a bastard) All for a one off price.

I don't know if there are other options that let me do all of that, unraid has always been the one mentioned.

  • Azure (number 2 in the industry I think?) has budget kill switches.

  • That looks like a mod ban from the community, not the instance? (Given you are posting in a .ml community)

  • The 20 mins meals are all pretty salty and meh, going beyond that is decent. I do it occasionally to force me out of my cooking comfort zone. It's good as it lets you try things with ingredients you would never normally have.

It has some plastic waste (was more than 'normal' cooking, but no where near others (Gusto is awful for waste). Some recipes are worse than others though.

Don't use it if your not getting a deal on it. If you quit they will offer you another discount.

  • Your country would be useful.

Amex used to give the best rewards, but now that visa has a high cost tier others (chase etc) might now be comparable. The best would be from more high end banks, but those are difficult to get into.

  • Define badly

  • Isn't pixel basically running it? What are they adding?

  • I get the boards, they are meant to be cheap!

Something g like this should should be better?

  • So apparently the usb-C power input doesn't work as a display out?

  • One thing to understand is that getting fitter sucks. But give it a few months and what originally sucked is now your warm up and actually quite enjoyable.

  • If you want to start running, look at the couch to 5k app for a safe and sustainable way into it. I would still much prefer running outside if you can though!

For everything else there, make sure you understand how to use it, then focus on improving; keep a log (mental or actual) of what you do, and always try to improve on at least one thing.

Fat loss is all about calories in being less than calories out. You will want to eat more after exercise, resist that if you want to lose weight.

  • I remember being underwhelmed at the demo though.
