Windows is designed for the average user and does very well in that regard. It prevents people with very little computer knowledge from totally messing things up.
Same in Canada. Every year we hear of at least one province debating privatizing healthcare as though thats gonna fix our problems and not just make it exponentially worse.
New England has a decently strong Acadian presence. But Acadians dont typically think of themselves as French, per se. They think of themselves as Acadian. The French influence is recognized of course, but its a different way of looking at ancestry.
I would love to say but its a small company in a fairly small community and I dont want to say for privacy reasons. Wouldnt make it too hard to figure out where I live.
Lets just say if you buy any blueberries labelled IFC (international fruit company) there is a chance they are our berries.
Just to be clear, I did NOT work for the IFC. We just packaged our berries for them and sent them out with their label. I cannot comment on the quality of IFC products in general.
In Canada, so no USDA but yeah, should have reported it. The shipment got sent back anyway because the stores rejected it. By the time it got there it was rotten.
The owner of the company is the kind of dipshit that spends a dollar chasing pennies. We've sent out subpar berries knowing full well they will be rejected. The owner still tries anyway. Complete moron.
It is my god given right as a free American to have a heart attack because I heard a loud honk, die at the wheel, take out a family in a minivan, careen off a cliff, and land through the roof of the Walmart off the interstate.
I have to admit, I like the smaller community size here. There's more real conversation going on. The downside to mass migration is that that is put at risk.
That said a federated platform has an advantage here. It allows for niche communities to thrive in a way that I think was harder on centralized platforms like Reddit.
Im sitting here in Canada just learning these exist in the first place.
