  • I just made an update but TL; DR seems that for me anyway, it was a temporary effect. Will continue to monitor though.

  • One of my favorite podcasts

  • Thanks for the responses everyone. I will talk to a doctor very soon.

  • Thanks to this thread I have discovered openboard.

  • We had the knob but it broke off. So we had a pair of pliers sitting on top of the TV to turn the dial (from 2 through 13).

My friends weren't as poor so they'd have a converter box. It had an actual remote and that sound it made as it flipped through all the channels. I can't even describe the sound but if you know, you know it.

  • Canceled Prime and Kindle Unlimited, I'm off the Amazon pill

  • Star Trek Armada was dope as hell!

  • Circle MUD I barely remember. Played MUME (Middle Earth mud I think is still around). Those were the days

  • Yeeeeeeeeppppppp!

  • Whenever I hear my wife scream, I know it's another house centipede I need to trap and throw outside (or smash and kill if I'm pressed on time)

  • My daughter is almost 3! Little man just turned 6. They love it. Never thought I'd be that guy with something like that in the backyard but now I understand.

  • We bought a modest playset in the backyard. It cost a lot but the value of having kids play outside when we can't orchestrate a trip to the park yet keep them away from screens while we can get stuff done around the house is priceless

  • In the 1990s it was the go to place to download pr0n and gore photos.

  • HistoryPorn please!

  • I like Lynx

  • I worked in restaurants that did this, nice ones too.

Anthony Bourdain even wrote about it:

"Recently, there was a news report about the practice of recycling bread. By means of a hidden camera in a restaurant, the reporter was horrified to see returned bread being sent right back out to the floor. This, to me, wasn’t news: the reuse of bread has been an open secret—and a fairly standard practice—in the industry for years. It makes more sense to worry about what happens to the leftover table butter—many restaurants recycle it for hollandaise."

  • Don't drink tea or coffee on flights. The water comes from a tank that is never cleaned

  • The bread you are given to at the restaurant is of often recycled from leftovers at previous tables.
