  • Seriously. I never would have bought Earthion, TWICE, if I hadn't pirated it and fell in love with it. I firmly believe in financially supporting creators that make things I love. I DON'T believe in taking the risk of paying asking price for a game I may not enjoy in an era when demos are a rarity. As a point of comparison, Trails in the Sky FC has a demo, which I played, and convinced me to buy the full version. Pirating Switch content isn't worth the time an effort to me, and without the demo, I never would have bought it.

  • Have you had covid? I have had a similar experience, and I suspect it's a form of long covid affecting cognitive abilities and memory. You may want to look into it, as this is currently being studied.

  • My daily driver. I have the Hori Split Compacts, but ended up with the Nyxi because I really wanted wireless, motion controls, and rumble. Split Compacts are awesome! I wish the Hyperions were closer to that size and shape and had the added supports on the back.

  • Nyxi Hyperion/Pros or Hori Split Pads. Hyperions retain all of the features of joycons minus NFC and IR sensor, and have generic rumble, but also have RGB lights, macro buttons, and turbo Hori pads are very basic, have no features and are not wireless, but are pretty cheap.

  • Sometimes, it's because they've lost the source code. Perfect example is Panzer Dragoon Saga. SEGA would love to remaster it, but the original source is gone, and it's apparently too financially risky to invest in rewriting from scratch.

  • That's true everywhere. The issue isn't what they are, the issue is how they were deliberately misrepresented. A whole lot of films and shows made it a point to conflate punks with white supremacists.

  • Because the Nazi skinheads did a great job of co-opting the punk title for most people who weren't actually interested in punk. The news media were very complicit in pushing that specific image to undermine the punk movement to the general public.

  • If you like Privateer, check out Double Damage Games "Rebel Galaxy: Outlaw". Excellent game with a lot of sadly lost potential due to the dev being run out of game development by hostile and entitled "gamers".

  • Darkstar One. And it is just now getting rereleased, so it doesn't count.

    So instead, I'll pick The Legend of Dragoon on PSX. Such a fun RPG that really needs revisited.
