Never tell us what we're feeling, why we're doing something or what we are etc.

  • Okay, but it is a good alternative to it that works cross platform without workarounds.

    So yes it doesn't solve that specific problem but it is a good alternative to AirDrop.

    Hopefully this workaround is allowed to continue, but we'll see.

  • Neither is in any of the repositories for our distro, however, even if they were they still rely on firefox and mozilla, which would then cause issues if we wanted to look something up on their support thing. Unless each project independently maintains a support site with translations created by the community too.

  • Terrible, all that work gone to waste for some bullshit technology that can't even get it correct.

    We really wish mozilla became a worker owned co-op, or realised that losing good faith with your community just for some bullshit that does it wrong but 100x faster isn't a good look.

    We really wish there were any good firefox alternatives but the alternatives are either LLM involved themselves, run by terrible people with terrible views, or they don't care about privacy.

  • We're with you, but sadly no is the likely answer.

    Most people have been abusive one time or another, though they can choose not to be any more.

    Many, especially tech and foss obsessives, choose not to change though.

    Heck, they even abuse or are horrible to other well established devs, so those devs leave.

    To stop this from happening would require a restructuring of society, with restorative and transformative justice as the goal.

    So it'll likely be a long time before it happens, since tech and foss obsessives are usually not interested in such processes.
