  • It does. The icon was hidden behind the ticktock overlay.also had to go fill screen on my app.

  • Have a clear and honest conversation with your wife. "She thinks it's fine" is not enough. And know your concern and worries more clearly. For example, "The age gap is representative of an emotional maturity gap."

And you might be right. But that doesn't matter. She need to know for herself in her own way. And she needs to feel like she can trust you to not hold it against her if they do go "wrong".

Either way, have an emotionally honest conversation with your wife.

  • I think the problem is worse. People tell me I should hate Microsoft and should be complaining. I'm no fan, but its just part of my life. Its got issues, but rarely does it interupt the busyness of my life. I'm ambivalent about Microsoft. They are not very different from the vast majority of global corporations.

I'm going to say this clearly, this comment is not an invitation to tell me how I should hate Microsoft.

  • Are you saying each phonome should have a letter? Because I think it would make our alphabet about 72 letters.

  • I've heard there can be a lot of bullying by well established nurses against new nurses.

  • I don't get where I said we should or shouldn't chastise them. Just noting that thorn was at one point part of the English alphabet.

  • þ is part of Old English. It came with the Angles, Saxons, Jutes and Frisians during the great Germanic migration. It was present in Middle English, but had already started being replaced by "th-" and "y-" like in "Ye Olde Tavern". Obviously, "th-" won out, but it was the printing press that removed þ from the English language.

  • I assume there's a historical reason why the entertainment industry

Yep. From what I've read it started out as "This studio made the film". But then you got celebrities who were part of the studio. The studio used credits to engage the audience and remind them why they are there "Studio presents Movie starring Celebrity".

Eventually other people behind the camera wanted acknowledgement so directors and producers got in. Writers and others who were unionized wanted to be included. And eventually it became to industry standard. So that's now just how it's done. It's probably also easy proof that you worked on a project.

Is it important to note the person who drove the props? I don't know. I don't think it was a question they were asking when they decided the standard. It was in the contract, they were making credits anyways, it wasnt worth fighting over.

  • Genuinely excited to visit the homeland. Then I saw this today. A little less excited.

  • Sometimes I roleplay as an adult human animal.

  • I will never forget Martian Law and doppelgangers.

  • That game was great! Scared the shit out of me and always wanted to play more.

  • 100%. As long as they don't spout left leaning rhetoric and then shift towards the center later. But that would never happen.

  • Sysinternals is also a great tool. Not as vital for the average user though.
