  • This is absurdly paranoid, not a possibility any sane person should be concerned about.

  • Android is Linux. A bastardization of it but Linux nevertheless.

  • I don't really care about car privacy myself.

Where I drive to isn't really a secret, social events are organized on Discord. And if driving recklessly raises my insurance premiums then that's deserved. I wouldn't risk something as expensive as a car with privacy hacks.

  • I always just run anything that asks for it with sudo, and I probably shouldn't. I wish my software installations (on any device) came with a set of required or requested permissions (with the option to say no). I want to know what I'm letting my software installs do.

  • Depends whether you wash in hot or cold water. If you use more hot water washing dishes by hand then it'll consume more electricity too.

  • I was diagnosed with autism in my early 20's. If I were German, 18, and drafted then I probably would be dead today.

If I had to make a draft work, I'd probably give people some kind of way to avoid military service but at great cost (like higher taxes or even mandatory civil service). Forcing a communist to go to war on your behalf will get people killed.

  • Just because LED's are ridiculously efficient, doesn't mean the appliances you build should run them with the power of 1000 suns.

  • I've seen how you interact with people, you're projecting.

  • Unlike you, I have the bare minimum of human decency and personal hygiene.

  • Shut up and block me you coward.

  • Default.

  • Please block me too.

  • You could always get a friend in another country to host a VPN just for you (and then run that through a commercial VPN).

  • Same as I do on Windows. When I want to open an application I press it and type in the name. For example: Windows, C, M, D, Enter (I type CMD even on Linux).

  • Lives are good and all, but I paid for my whole screen and so I'm damn well gonna use my whole screen.

  • I would keep my feet in both sides, but nobody I know has their feet in any. They're all Discord/Facebook/Whatsapp.

  • I think SMS via Signal probably undermines the entire point of it. It's supposed to be private, if messages are as exposed as text messages by default then their entire mission goes down the toilet.

  • Finally, I've wanted this for ages but forks like Tor and Mullvad always took the fingerprinting defense too far (with no option to tone it down).

  • I've looked up so many email providers that I may have got the terms of services mixed up.
