  • They almost ruined that series with the budgeting/ animation. They saved it with the finale. I'm not going to hop the animation hate train, though. It definitely came down to budget/ time constraints.

  • Right-click the link and open it in a private tab, or copy the url and open a private tab, and paste it. You'll have to re-enable your web extensions. Google is cracking down on ad blockers.

For some reason, though, I stopped having to do that. I have no idea what I did. I'm using multiple ad blockers. I'm using multiple extensions that alter YouTube. I have no idea why they suddenly stopped caring about my web extensions.

I also have other extensions that skip sponsors, add down votes, etc... those have been SUPER spotty recently.

  • I think going to a location related to the project would be a great idea. I'd encourage note/ pictures. Then, I'd discuss those observations as a group, and how they could be implemented in the game.

If you're talking about r and r, throw them a day off.

  • That name is unfortunate

  • Do you want to test it with me? I can make a few different accounts on a few different instances if you're willing. I'll make a few comments on a few posts and delete them.

I had one specific time someone quoted me like you did in a comment, but it was something I had deleted a long time ago. The time stamp on their comment was too recent to have seen my comment. I tested it a few times after that. If I can find the comment chain(s), I'll link them. I comment a lot on lemmy, so I'd have to dig a bit.

  • Sorry, you can't delete your comment if they choose to disallow that. That's common on lemmy. That's why you'll get downvotes on poorly written comments you give up on and delete.

  • It's a series of self hosted, inter connected, social (mostly) media platforms sharing similar names/ templates. Lemmy is like reddit, but even more decentralized than something like mastadon, which is like twitter.Twitter. Most social media apps have/ used to have a specific purpose. Honestly, I should have this compiled in a clean and easy to share format.

  • Learn about the fediverse as much as possible! Learn about instances and check our their about bar/ page. Download a mobile application and explore the many options you have. Try to figure out why you want to be here. Check out the list of popular instances (a lot of the instances have esoteric names) and see if there's an instance that reflects your interests. Check what they're federated to, and decide if those are the kind of people you want to talk to/ share your interests. There are general instances like ".ml and .world. " These instances can become overburdened. The account you have on their instance is your access to the rest of the fediverse/ lemmy.

Our active user base is somewhat small. The biggest thing is to explore, read side bar rules, and post!

It's a lot of information, and when I first got into it, I felt over my head.

ALSO YOU CAN'T DELETE YOUR COMMENTS OUTSIDE OF YOUR INSTANCE.

Posting to 196 would be a good example.

  • The Samsung Galaxy A15 5G has an audio jack and is somewhat recent. It's a budget phone, though. The spec's aren't the best, but the price point is nice. If you wanted to listen to flac over wired headphones, that would work well.

  • Equestrian/ Riding-Poncho/ Cape. It works like a windbreaker. This one is more of a cape.

  • I was thinking librewolf sounded nice. Especially with baked in security features. When digging for advice, I've mostly found people still recommending Firefox over the last year, up until recently. Librewolf popped up a few times, though. The seamonkey internet suite seems pretty nice, as well.

  • Yeah, your data is the trade away. I'm trying to fork it rn and bake in the extensions.

  • It's just a single install. But fair point. This allows you to create playlists, though.

  • I also use it to listen to podcasts/ lore videos without having my screen on when I'm falling asleep. It's also nice for driving. If you make a playlist and have an ad blocker, it WILL continue on to the next song.

I'm actually thinking of forking Firefox and making a lite version mostly geared towards playing YouTube content without ads and without restrictions.

  • I read that as "kindergrinder" at first. Lmao.

  • They lied about obstruction a lot. That's what I wasn't hoping for.i think I'm done. I was hoping to make a small change, and I will continue to do so. My first reflex was to say "fuck it", and post everything to the neighborhood ap. I think everything is fucked, though.

  • They'd tow my my devices, but that's a good idea. I know I'm a farmer, but I'm not rich.
