  • There are no facial cues or vocal inflections with text only communication so dumb additions are generally helpful and no less cringe than an lol or emoji.

  • Many years ago I got banned from r/conservative for asking where exactly conservation came into play as part of their ideology. On its face, being conservative sounds awesome. I want to conserve this planet's ecology. I want to conserve human rights. I have never seen any conservative American politician in the last thirty some-odd years try to conserve anything. It would be much more apt to call them regressionists, but they're so much worse than that.

But since you willingly identify yourself as a conservative, and you're here, what is your take?

Edit: After reading through your other responses... Never mind. I can see you are more a literalist when it comes to the definition of the word conservative, but that is not and has never been what the political ideology has been for or about. Your attempts to make it something it's not may be noble, if not misguided when you could just associate yourself with the people who believe in the same things you do.

  • I'm not sure it's possible to put it all back together again even if it's possible to put dems in charge.

We crossed this threshold on day 3.

  • So it's literally just Elon.

  • Idle Hands if you like Army of Darkness and gross out practical effects.

  • But why male models?

  • I've got ~hundreds~ thousands (lol) of hours in Civ VI alone. I've paid for copies for PC, Switch, and Android (and I'm cheap as hell so that's really saying something). I played Civ VII for maybe an hour or two and then never came back to it. I shouldn't have to tell you that a Civ game you can willingly put down is not a good Civ game. Aside from the game just not being very fun to begin with, the transition between ages is so clunky, it just completely ruins all of your planning and the pacing of the game.

With this news I saw some DLC had been released since I tried the game and thought 'oh great, maybe they fixed it a bit or added new mechanics.' Nope, just more fluff. Never again, Firaxis. You will never get another dime from me.

  • From Indian Lakes album Head Void Tapes is so fricken good, I didn't even realize it was a reimagining of their album Head Void and that not a single other one of their albums would sound even remotely like it.

  • I'd definitely rather boot windows, but to each his own.

  • 0.o appreciate you bringing that to my attention.

  • There's tons of these? I've been using DizqueTV for like five years without issue.

  • Hell yeah, dude.

I kid of course, I could use a hobby that incorporates some kind of motion.

But for real $1k is part of a good used lens, a fifth of the camera I really want, or a couple of decent hard drives to add to the collection. I remember I once lost my shit over $10, now I can't even get it up for $1000.

  • Lol, I swear I posted mine at least slightly before yours. I was looking up an image of the original hat to reply to another user in that thread when I saw our joke.

    And besides...

But you can have half the upvotes this post received if you feel wronged.

  • Eternal September:

"A cultural phenomenon during a period beginning around late 1993 and early 1994, when Internet service providers began offering Usenet access to many new users."

"The flood of new and generally inexperienced Internet users directed to Usenet by commercial ISPs in 1993 and subsequent years swamped the existing culture of those forums and their ability to self-moderate and enforce existing norms. AOL began their Usenet gateway service in March 1994, leading to a constant stream of new users.

Hence, from the early Usenet community point of view, the influx of new users that began in September 1993 appeared to be endless."
