  • yeah exactly the point of my posting this isnt to say people should boycott but they are free to choose to do so but rather that this is a symptom of capitalism and i thought people might find this interesting. capitalism requires exploitation at almost every level to sustain itself. sharing this article around is a great first start, maybe contact representatives. im not american but ive consumed a lot of stuff from some of these brands that are more global, some im already avoiding because of their stance on palestine but boycott is only one tool in our arsenal. The root problem in this and so many things is capitalism

  • unlike how it was in the 90s, Disney no longer has support in the government not as much as it used to. Republicans dont like them because they went back on supporting the dont say gay bill. Also before Isaac Perlmutter was on the board of directors and he was in the inner circle of Trump and he recently got laid off. Corey is right that not only disney but other companies are starting to prefer trademark law to get what they want. Look at ERB Inc, Tarzan is public domain but they still have a lot of control and are the "official" estate for Tarzan stuff. They own all related trademarks.

  • zionists seem to ignore that jewish palestinians exist. frankly if you read about the discrimination faced by mizrahi jews (descendants of jewish communities from north africa and the middle east) it seems clear that Israel doesnt care about all jews but more specifically ashkenazi jews. Not saying those are the bad guys or anything but the government of Israel clearly favors them in a systemic way similar to how white people are favored in europe and north america
