  • I'd like a button that tells each website I visit to go fuck itself with its cookies.

  • You guys need UVB LEDs or fluorescent lamps.

Peak Efficiency: Studies, often using skin samples (in vitro), have shown that wavelengths in the very narrow band of approximately 293 nm to 297 nm are the most effective at triggering this conversion.

In vitro studies have shown that vitamin D3 production increases in a dose-dependent manner. Effective doses used in studies on skin samples include:

    0.75 MED (approximately 11.7 mJ/cm2)

    1.5 MED (approximately 23.4 mJ/cm2)

    3 MED (approximately 46.8 mJ/cm2)

    And the goal is 1MED.

One study that achieved vitamin D synthesis in in vivo (rat) testing used a commercial UVB-LED system installed at 1.5 meters and an irradiance of 10.67 mW/m2 for general indoor lighting.

Another device designed for supplemental use found that, at a distance of 20 cm, an exposure time of 33–40 minutes could achieve the daily recommended vitamin D synthesis (400 IU).

A different device, using a broader spectrum (UVB fluorescent lamp), found optimal production at a distance of 14 cm with 10–15 minutes of exposure.

  • There isn't an online specific place for 3D printing optic assemblies but there are plenty of places to read about stereo photos. There's even a software called stereophotomaker that helps you crop and adjust the photos you take.

  • I 3D printed a special lens to do that. It basically holds 4 mirrors to catch two images on the same sensor slightly apart ~2.75" apart or so.

  • I started using photoprism. But their viewer doesn't show my 3D side by side stereo photos. Immich brings a better viewer that gets out of the way and it also has multiple users. The immich multiple user accounts function a bit weird. My family photos need to be shared as external libraries while our phone photos cannot be shared unless you share accounts. They did some decisions around handling multiple users that is not fabulous. I used photoprism for awhile but just a few months on immich I can tell its going to be a better experience.

  • The users confirm others at random.

  • We could go by width of feet... You take a foot picture, it goes to another user temporarily while they sign in. If they think that's an adult then you're in. Then they take a foot photo and the next random user sees their image and they have to judge if the image is an adult. But the image could also be a fake. If they identify a false positive they have to wait 5 minutes. And so on. If others need to login they could judge the same image already identified as adult. If they think its not an adult then that user's logins is set to wait 5 minutes while two other users are snown the image. If those two users think its an adult then the user who said it was not an adult get to wait for 15 minutes. If however those two guys agree with it not being adult then that user gets permanently banned.

  • Or nails....bikes remove nails.

  • To an outsider like me. Its hilarious because you've never seen so many people trying to get somewhere on a bike. Specially when its winter and they get icicles on their face. But also when many are dressed like executives at some large corp while riding comfort bikes in the sitting up straight position.

Here in the us people ride bikes to exercise and have absolutely no heading or reason other than that. In Mexico people side their bikes from work if their old or poor or both. They ride slowly for pleasure, just to not have to walk after a long day. Whistling, looking at women walking because women don't ride bikes, machismo. Its traditional. The bikes are old and are quickly becoming replaced by 2cycle mopeds, which women do ride a lot. Tons and tons of mopeds along with tons of moped accidents. So a bunch of people riding bikes, not wearing spandex or helmets, or wearing helmets and a suit, on special roads to get somewhere useful that's on the hilarious end of things. Because its weird and different.

  • This looks hilarious but its real. I've seen it with my own eyes. By the way, you see a red colored sidewalk, you get off of that thing unless you want to get run over by bikes.

  • Definitely. It is a time in your life when you realize you are powerless but you plan head.

  • What a fucking douchebag!

  • All about PTC's God awful piece of shit PLM/PDM systems IntraLink and PDMlink. I cannot believe the amount of trash code that company uses. And they get paid millions to basically screw the customers over. The costumer's CAD gets intertwined in a huge heap of automated HTML garbage. This leads to a total disaster.

  • Oh, maybe it wasn't memorable enough?

  • I'll Wait a few years so I can buy it on eBay for $10.99 with free shipping for a self hosted immich server.

  • In was going to upvote. But it was already up voted for me. WTF?

  • I know of a few that would stop technology development cold. I will not be sharing such information.

  • The version with the rounded top is the smart dildo.
