  • Double agree

  • As alternative suggestion:

Switch Banks (Move to a Local Credit Union or at least a better one)

  • I vote for all of what you said

  • Haha sounds like a good problen to have

  • I'll try to find it. Maybe you can use Tineye or something else from alternativeto.net alternatives to Google Lens to find it using a photo taken too? If not no worries, takes for the info either way

  • Thanks for the suggestion it does sound like something I would use. I'll give it a go. Appreciate it

  • Careful not to use them too loud though studies are being done and finding that hearing loud sounds consistently especially earbuds/headphones over/in ear are killing the hairs in ear that help with keeping hearing good

  • Which book if you don't mind me asking?

  • Imagine ricing an office chair to look like a gaming chair:

"Look at my awesome gaming office chair I customized it myself" would definitely be a flex on twitch

  • Can you link the one you got please?

  • Do you have any guide suggestions I can use to get it setup. Seems like a great thing overall

  • What are your monthly costs? Does seem fun

  • Bought a sunrise alarn clock then felt some benefits of waking up easier

Then used it with combination of opening curtains and that energized me a lot

Now thinking the final evolution will be to have a curtain setup that auto-opens at the set time, and changeable when needed. Not sure yet if anything already exists product-wise for that but that's something that will very likely help you a lot too (Hopefully you have a window next to your bed)

It is super underrated waking up millions times easier via the sun (Pair with consistent sleep schedule of when you sleep and wake)

  • I fully agree and do the same it is a way better way to buy needed things. Won't ever go back to Amazon but the news of AWS reminded me how alternatives are needed for Amazon and Amazon Web Services

This post is more so for apps to be made that most people will use and will actually be a boon to the open source community as another way of funding. Can also lead the way to hardware being funded to be made as well from that additional income stream

  • To reduce redundancy here are some projects already being made (I'll add links in a bit they are on Lemmy if you search Tux. Except Conker's Dev I know them) but if you still want to make a project in those genres then be my guest:

    • 3 people are working on a Tux Smash-like
    • SuperTuxKart Team is making their next iteration of the game to be overhauled (They have a name for it but forgot what it was called)
    • Know a developer working on a Tux Conker-like game

For a couple personal suggestions of games that people would love. It will be cool if we get any of these. I'll put in my vote as well:

    • A New Tux 2D Platformer Game
    • A Farming Game like Stardew Valley
    • A 3D Platformer Game with support for up to 8 players with local couch co-op and online co-op (With a Mario Maker to make it complete)
    • A Brand New Tux Party Game
    • A 4X Grand Strategy Civilization Game
    • A Turn-Based Final Fantasy-like Game
    • A Horror Game
    • An RTS Game

Godot, Open Source, GNU GPL 2.0 and/or 3.0 license, & Fully Moddable will futureproof the game

  • Anyone know good open source alternatives or I guess no golem source too if need be

  • Someone else on this post made a huge comment about how Spain has been using lots of Open Source stuff for long time

  • A thousand percent yes! Wait wait WAIT BIG IDEA!!!

Everybody listen up, let's all suggest to EU Countries to partner up with PostmarketOS, Mobian, Ubuntu Touch, & Free Software Foundation's Librephone project so they can all get funding!!

That way they can get made way faster than they are now

  • Wait what? What's going on with those projects?
