  • Cheers 🍻 and I appreciate it, but it’s all good! It’s a reasonable assumption to make, given the context

  • Yeah, that’s fair

  • It is broad, yeah. And I can’t speak for everyone, but speaking from my own experience, I certainly resent that my parents made that decision for me. Especially given that there’s no medical reason for it, I don’t see any reason why someone should violate someone else’s bodily autonomy like that.

Edit: also, not a boy :)

  • If you want your child to resent you for mutilating them with unnecessary surgery without their consent, go for it. If you want to be a good parent, don’t.

  • Use an app or some other web blocker to stop yourself from loading the site. And when you have the addiction itch and get blocked, try to remember that you’re blocking it for a reason, and you don’t actually want to go there. It’ll take a while for your brain to adjust, but after a few days or weeks, you won’t even try to go there any more. YMMV, but that worked for me.

  • I did. But I could easily see how people are put off by the “fan base”. I actually avoid talking about Linux at all irl because I don’t want people to think I’m a fossbro

  • Mullvad. Excellent service, never had an issue. Used to use Proton, but their CEO sucks ass

  • I find it valuable and worth supporting, so I donate a dollar a month. It’s not much, but I want to contribute (monetarily, in addition to editing)

  • I noticed an initial bump in LLM-generated text when ChatGPT first came out, but I think Wikipedia is starting to get a better handle on counteracting it. Better than a lot of other places on the internet, that’s for sure

  • And meds are like that little pot of smoke that makes the bees fall asleep and the buzzing fade

  • Oooooh shit. How cheap do we think I can get a used Fanuc on eBay?

  • If you don’t mind going through the trouble of the “interview” to join a private tracker, I have heard very good things about MyAnonaMouse

  • Well, it’s not my area of expertise, so I’m not sure exactly. But I suppose a good place to start might be restricting or removing the ability of government agencies to classify or redact information, alongside increasing the power and scope of FOIA/sunshine laws.

    What do you think?

  • Why not? Why should we allow our government to keep secrets from us?

  • Just got an epilator! And owwwwww lol

But it works SO well. I love how smooth my skin is, I just hope the pain goes down over time, I can only do so much at a time before I need a break

  • Gotcha, thanks! It’s hard to tell what their pricing is from their website. Do you know what they might charge for just the chest and face? And do they offer payment plans?

  • Just like Reagan and the Black Panthers, Republicans have no problem with gun control as long as it doesn’t target cis white people

  • That’s good to hear! I’ve heard a lot of good things about Milan. If you don’t mind my asking, how expensive are we talking?

  • Thank you, I’ll definitely be careful!
