  • That's great! Although I'd strongly recommend changing blades more often. They are so cheap that they are not worth overextending like that. Your face deserves better

  • DE-razor I shave with a new blade every second shave and it's still cheaper than any other shaving method that I've tried. On top of that the shaving soap last for ages (literally years) and the shaving experience is fantastic if you get the right razor.

    Don't go down the fancy road to start with though. I have some expensive stuff that I don't use and have fallen for a cheap razor from temu and proraso green soap. Also just a nylon brush works fine for me to lathe up the soap

  • I personally don't like the idea if calling servers communities. Mainly because they are not.

    Maybe call it a home and that you can access other communities from your home.

    That said it is not clear enough that not all communities in a "home" can be accessed from all homes. Or is it me that hasn't understood it well? I was part of a local national server where only a few if their communities were federated

  • Everybody is fine with celebrities like Whoopi Goldberg making up fake names for themselves, but when someone chooses a name for themselves to suit their gender identity it's suddenly a problem

    I can't even see an issue with choosing a name that suits their gender, whatever that may be..

  • Living outside of the US, I must say that we don't really feel it all that much. In terms of this post in regards to free speech, the us has no effect whatsoever

    I realize that the us is a large country and I also realize that the culture there often has folks believe that the world is the us, but really, we're all looking at the dumpster fire and waiting for it to pass

  • I have come to grips with the fact that I am not capable of maintaining relationships like this. I have no one close to me like this or even casually close. Honestly though, after so many years of failing, not at making friends but at keeping them, I have come to terms that it is not natural for me to have them.

    I am very good at making friends but I lose interest after some time and it feels like a burden to keep up the friendship. I am perfectly fine without them though so I can't see why I should keep trying.

    Maybe it's a condition... Maybe I'm born with it 🤷

  • Yeah but new socks are necessary when the old ones are worn out, and honestly, I understand indulging in an ice-cream once in a while but make it something worth it instead of McDonald's sundae...

  • These dogs are super fast runners and quite good jumpers. If they want, they can easily jump most fences. Yet a row of empty bottles and glass jars is enough for them to not cross the 'imaginary line' I set up to keep them out of the kitchen
