  • Lego is Danish. They are lego bricks or lego blocks or lego pieces or just lego. Not legos.

  • Eh, well, in your profile pic you look a lot balder, beardier and purple than she does in her Instagram posts, but it could just be bad lighting I suppose.

  • Are you my older sister? She does this to me too.

  • they are individual pieces that are countable

    So are sheep.

  • Oh yes, definitely. Otherwise the Minotaur might escape and frighten the other railway station users when he should be enforcing the unwritten rules of the urinal.

  • Thanks for the chuckle.

  • All the switches. All the joy. No need for plugs left on the floor.

  • No, but my point was that there's no need to unplug something and leave the plug on the floor if there's a switch.

  • The ladies flock to me for my witty pedantic corrections.

  • Why not drop the plug at the wall instead of in the middle of the floor where you walk, or get a multisocket? £3.99 at Argos for a little one.

  • Far more likely to move the appliance than damage the plug. I've got a couple of spare old bakelite plugs in my garage, and that shit is strong.

  • Don't unplug them, use the socket switch, and don't leave them where you might walk if you do.

  • UK sockets usually have switches on them. There's no need to unplug things when you're not using them.

Also, Lego is a collective noun. Saying legos is exactly like saying sheeps.

  • 30,000 or so unnecessary deaths because he delayed lockdown.

Partied breaking his own rules while the Queen mourned her husband in isolation, not allowed to have anyone sat next to her at the funeral.

Like trump, a born liar and bulshitter.

  • The duckduckgo week browser comes with its own YouTube player which is ad free.

  • Easy. Second hand electric car with a big range.

  • Uh, I heard it in the news.

Iirc, the ICO (data protection regulator) preliminarily found that imgur was selling user data to advertisers, having been profiling users for age band (including children).

They then threatened imgur with a fine if they didn't agree steps to protect children's data, but imgur decided to protest by geoblocking the country.

ICO say that liability for previous illegal sale of children's data does not disappear, and imgur blame it on the much less popular online safety act, which is weird because the investigation started well before the act came into force.

Imgur were also shitty because they deleted a vast amount of older images because the posters didn't have a subscription with them, which kind of betrays the whole original point of the website.

I think they also sacked the original creators, but I may be mixing them up with another rapidly shittifying webcorp.

  • "Content not viewable in your region."

    Hilarious.

Imgur sold children's personal data and geoblock to try to evade the fine.
