  • Do yourself a favor and starting blocking users (bots) and communities you will never be interested in. After a while, your feed starts getting a lot cleaner and more interesting.

    The internet is too noisy to read everything, so tailor the content to stuff you will engage with for a happier experience!

    edit: oh you said "not logged in", which might mean that you already blocked the bot on your account. Still, the advice stands for anyone reading along

  • Yup. Love it or hate it. I feel like Balatro renewed this hype train as it cooled off a bit. But even without it, Slay the Spire 2 would have brought it back again.

    I was on the fence for a long while but overall I'm enjoying these more and more. Some are more sophisticated than others!

    Me. I have this. Happens several times a night. Sounds like a door slamming or a gunshot. The weirdest part is you also get the feeling that there was an impact, like that feeling when someone stomps near you. So it’s not just auditory it’s almost physical. It’s a very strange thing and hard to describe because you’re always 3/4 of the way asleep when it happens. I’ve had it my whole life and always found it curious but have never questioned it out loud. I thought everyone had this until I saw “exploding head syndrome” on the internet. Asked my parents and siblings, no, none of them have this and what the fuck am I talking about? I’m in my goddamned 40s and thought this was normal.

    Currently the information is shown when hovering over ("Based on a median European €50,000 software developer salary from developersalary.com"), which is behaviour expected when you hover over an (i)-icon (or a question mark). If you put in an asterisk, there should be somewhere on the bottom of this element that refers to said asterisk to indicate the extra info. It's not intuitive to having to mouse-over an asterisk, imo.

    I imagine this is referring to current balance. I'm not saying there should be a sense of urgency communicated but it might hurt donations if there's is shown that you've got 4 months left anyway.
