  • Oh buddy, I've been there, and now I'm a nihilist. Good luck.

  • As a counterpoint, I used to memorize everything and not write anything down. Then I got a serious head injury (got hit by a SUV going 55mph) and wound up with short-term memory problems. Now I have to learn how to take better notes, which is so hard to do with memory problems.

  • I set the clock in the kitchen a little fast because my partner is chronically late, and this way he leaves on time for work.

  • My dreams, broken :sob:

  • Oh dang, so you're saying I was the gayest person on earth once, but because it happened in my sleep, I never noticed? That explains those dreams.

  • Steamed hams

  • Asexual is a spectrum. On one end, you've got the people that don't want to cuddle or hold hands, and on the other end, you've got the people that will have sex, but find it about as exciting as brushing your teeth.

Not saying OP is or is not ace, but that the asexual community might have people who align with their sexual preferences.

  • I dunno. I find that enough movies and tv shows get chopped up into shorts and served to my fyp that it's very similar to channel surfing sometimes. I feel like I've seen most of a few different movies served to me in random order with no context.

  • Ugh, I can't believe my towel is only into me after it's been used by my partner.

  • I usually call them "those, uh, usb thingies" while pantomiming plugging one into the wall

  • Agreed. A lot of things, at its root, is dopamine seeking. Binge eating, gambling, drugs, high risk behavior, anything for a hit of dopamine. We're finding that ADHD brains struggle with dopamine signaling, so it makes sense that you're going to see more dopamine seeking behavior in that cohort.

  • There's also the wider political angle to consider. The 90s was very safe for media companies to push revolutionary talk, there was no chance it'd actually turn into revolution. Now, shit's starting to go down, and media companies don't want the government to think they're encouraging revolution.

  • Technically proprietary software, but that's only because the hardware is unique. It might be free, but I can't see the source or install it on other universes.

  • Nice

  • I'm just giving you shit

  • Tons of people give a shit tho

  • Because the way chlorophyll is shaped at a molecular level, it acts like a filter. It lets red and blue light pass, but reflects green light.

  • What if we had two circulatory systems, one for blood, and one for pesto?
