Just a guy not on Reddit

  • Adding to what others have said, I got Calibre-Web Automated set up and put KOreader on an old Kindle, so that when I find a book I can just upload it to CWA and easily browse the home library from my device (it sync progress too if you read on multiple devices).

You can also use calibre (desktop version) to strip DRM from library books so you can return the them earlier for someone else to borrow :)

  • Yes, download from nopaystation and "install to system memory".

For updates this tool has never steered me wrong: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4x2-NvBV7c

As someone else said Xenia is making big strides at 360 but is not really yet at the level for everyday use.

For OG Xbox Xemu seems to be the best these days but it too is still very hit or miss.

  • Do you know if this syncs save states?

  • LOL in my defense they are the two most popular pieces of software for their respective duties.

  • Looks like they don't do the exact same format, actually. For example Knulli calls it pcengine and Romm is tgx16. Same for genesis (Romm) and megadrive (Knulli).

  • Oh interesting, thanks!

  • Komga doesn't do uploads

  • The switch to CWA is very easy (I just did it recently) but I was sad to see the web reader doesn't sync progress with Koreader or other apps.

  • Koreader is great but it is a reading app, and it's not great on android. I'm looking for a selfhosted library that can sync Koreader or similar.

  • Yeah I'm fine with a folder that it regularly scans or something, I just don't want to have to properly tag everything/get cover art manually every time.

I currently use Komga for graphic novels (cdisplayex syncs progress with it). I had no idea it had Koreader support, maybe I'll give it more of a look.

  • Got it thanks, I think it's weird it shows up in Dolphin this way but at least I know what it is now.

  • Calibre installs fine (flatpak). I updated my post but I was able to change the temp directory which "fixed" it.

  • Appreciate the response, I updated my post but I "fixed" this by changing Calibre's temp directory.

  • You were correct, I believe I "fixed" the error with Calibre by using Flatseal to add an environment variable CALIBRE_TEMP_DIR that changed the Temp directory to something else.

  • It's not in partition manager actually!

  • Not clear, the "drive" doesn't show up in partition manager.

  • That makes sense, thank you! How can I clear up space in it?

  • How'd it get full then? And if it's supposed to be 100%, any ideas on how can I get Calibre (so far the only app I've noticed that is giving trouble) to ignore it?
