  • You got two options. Both suck.

    1. Call support. Have fun. I'd rather rip out my eyeballs in this scenario because you're not a paying customer. You will get the shit-tier service, will likely be hung up on, and reexplain the situation to 3+ individuals over the course of 4 hours and ultimately get nothing done.
    2. Resubscribe. Finish the job. The odds of your accounts db being wiped are kinda slim. Sucks because you do what you explicitly sought to avoid: pay Microsoft.
  • I recently looked at my emails spam filters and my goodness. I've built a monstrosity over a few decades here.

  • Idk of any good series but techno Tim has a great video on using cloudflare and traefik to get wildcard letsencrypt ssls for your docker services.

  • I can just think of this

    Glad you're ok.

  • Most obvious reason that comes to mind is cooling. All the HVAC in the world isnt going to be able to stop 50 floors of server rack heat from spilling onto the 51st floor, etc.

This is also a nightmare for fire suppression systems.

  • In many Linux users opinion, yes. The Lenovo Thinkpad is goated. I'd share that opinion. Very happy with mine and it's 6 years old. If it's still in price range, see if you can find one with an AMD Ryzen 9 CPU, recent gens.

  • If you need AI, you need a minimum of 4gb VRAM in your GPU. But really... 8gb..

Get a Lenovo Thinkpad new with 8gb VRAM and 32gb ram. With a 4k display and 2TB nvme SSD, I am guessing will ballpark around $2k depending on CPU.

  • Now is the time to scope out used Lenovo thinkbooks if you're good installing Linux on it.

Businesses everywhere tossing them out now that win10 support is dead.

To better answer your question, well need to know what you're using it for in general. Gaming? Coding stuff? Just a social media and TV browsing box? Creating or editing content?

  • Depends. Startle response is pretty beast.

In general pretty quick. Anywhere from instant to about 1 hour.

  • I present to you a wild notion:

    Adobe OS.

They have the market value and revenue to do what steam is doing.

They could make switching a cost save if the OS integrates vertically with the creative cloud.

To be clear, I don't want this and would t use it. But any business with licenses would say "wait... Ditch Microsoft ios, and... Poof? Everything works and we pay way less money?"

All that Microsoft provides any business at this point is AD/Azure.

I feel like Microsoft is taking massive Ls between now and 2030. I don't think Adobe is gonna do this, I'm just saying if they did, it could work. Microsoft is a weak giant right now.

  • "whatever happened to catching a good old fashioned passionate ass whoopin and getting your shoes coat and your hat tooken?"

It's not often violence warms my heart. Seeing people pull over so they could kick this piece of shit makes me feel like people aren't all that bad.

  • Am I understanding this that you have some number of .pdf files that are 40-60 pages each and within them, there exist documents varying from 2 to 10 pages, and your task is to parse them?

If so, how many .PDFs are we talking here? You said on paper it's like 8cm high? So like 1000 pages ish?

    So like 20 .PDFs?

Just... Do it, dawg. The amount of time you spent on this post you coulda finished 1 of those PDFs. That's 5% of the task. Do that 19 more times.

If you're asking "can Adobe Acrobat break a 60 page .pdf into some number of .PDFs based on page numbers I tell it to?" the answer is yes.

Breathe a bit friend. No need to get overwhelmed.

  • However, at the time, the person making and in charge of keeping that promise was not a Russian asset.

  • More people need to know about

    Benn Jordan

I'm not gonna tell you about him beyond the fact that he's an EDM artist known as The Flashbulb from basically the era of Aphex Twin. And he's still quite relevant in the scene.

He did a video on how much it'd cost you in taxes to have all art for free forever and have artist paid well without 3rd part private companies. And literally every tax paying, private service subscribing human should know and vote accordingly.
