  • Too young? That's a hard question. It's definitely risky to marry this young, but also I have no clue what your situation is. Although you sound like you are in the prime position for this to work out so idk.

    So you are definitely very young for marriage but don't let that distract you - it sounds like it'll be worth it to you :)

    Also as a chronic overthinker, do not hesitate to just talk about it with your gf if you are worried.

    Windows tends to play Pac-Man with other operating systems in those cases.

  • I always thought using ddr5 average speeds with like 64gb in sticks on consumer boards is passable. Not great, but passable.

  • AI or servers probably. I have 40gb and that's what I would need more ram for.

    I'm still salty because I had the idea of going cpu & ram sticks for AI inference literally days before the big AI companies. And my stupid ass didn't buy them in time before the prices skyrocketed. Fuck me I guess.

    Pocket synthesizers are good for music writing, but everything that has to do with the production itself an instrument will not help you with.

    Certainly if you think you will have fun playing it you can sample it and use it in your songs, but that has almost nothing to do with digital music production.
