  • We cannot get it because we are not rich but rich people aren't frugal they don't wait a videogame to drop 5$ in price to buy it

  • Sounds like videogames sales are made to make money and the original price has not much to do with cover costs bur rather making as much profits as people are willing to pay

  • Can you elaborate where your confusion lies?

Real goods have a limited lifespan, they usually go on sales when they are about to reach the end of their life or when you physically have to get rid of them. Software doesn't expire.

A price is usually set to cover the initial costs and to make a reasonable profit not to squeeze how much money you can from people.

  • Grocery deteriorates, when it's about to expire it goes on sales and if nobody buys they throw it away. Software doesn't rotten.

  • So what you are saying is that it is only a marketing move to appeal to poorer people?

  • Can someone explain videogames sales to me? How can a game be 12$ and 8.99$ the day after?

  • What’s the real need for the strengthened military?

    same as it ever was

  • Nobody is begging. Politicians are using "defence" as a leverage to enpower and enrich themself

  • "countries" are invisible lines draw on a map by someone. Propaganda and lies are a tool used by people to persuade others, free speech and freedom are a natural condition upon which humanity can evolve and prosper.

  • I'll ask you the same question in another format: Why aren't we plastering the internet with pictures of the US president shoving his nose up the ass of every war criminal he ever met?

  • Because evil people control all the media

  • The pharmaceutical industry still have a say in public healthcare. In europe the mandatory vaccines during covid were all made by for profit corporations listed in the stock market.

  • Do you see how these days anyone challenging authority and pointing out issues gets labeled and dismissed as a "conspiracist"? In the past years governments worldwide with the help of social networks and mass media pushed stupid ass conspiracy forward like flat earth and no vax as a tool to control and downplay dissent.

With the healtcare system being controlled by for profit evil corporations, medics treating people as if they were robots and after the covid pandemic where experimental vaccines got forced on people against their rights, vaccines misinformation found a fertile ground.

  • It had value, but nothing close to 43 BILLION dollars.

43 billions is peanuts compared to the 3 trillions apple and microsoft market cap. Twitter is one of the biggest social network in the world and the one more used by politicians. It has plenty of value even if not making profits, everyone know how it works.

And now you read daily how much money it’s losing.

Last time i hear about him he was talking over the president, as expected from owning one of the biggest social networks in the world he isn't losing much.

  • Literally the ONLY reason Musk bought it was because he got into a pissing contest

People keep saying he's an idiot making stupid decisions, which is true because he's a corrupted money addict but he's the second if not the first richest man in the world and he's now in the white house talking for the president. You are all getting fooled hard thinking he becomes more wealthy by accident.
