  • Not making a couple of loan payments. As soon as a big player does this, everyone else will be on edge.

A layer higher? Expose Palantir's role in Israeli targeting and manipulation that includes global espionage with Epstein and others.

An easier way would be to restore democracy by making the right to digital slavery – ownership and trade of the digital presence of a person for exploitation and manipulation – illegal. That is the profitable and massive political capital driving the machine.

  • The hub doesn't have a negotiation chip to set the voltage correctly. It is likely presenting as a bus hub. Like if you do $ lsusb on Linux, you'll see the hub and whatever is connected. That hub may be integrated into other chips or it may be stand alone as a peripheral somewhere on the board. It is basically like a digital cable splitter for the bus. It is only concerned with the data. The power is likely just passed through. For USB-C PD, it would need some complex additional circuitry to negotiate, convert voltages and do current limiting. The way the pins can be inverted by flipping the connector makes it logically complicated.

  • There are only 2 relevant web crawlers that everyone inferences either directly or indirectly. Everything is going through Google or Microsoft. These are not providing deterministic results. It is quite likely that there is no such thing as private results. If two people using two separate devices can get different results for the same query, there is no freedom of information and democracy is dead. Paying any privateer overlord to make the fascist system more palpable is pointless.

  • Much of this type of method is obfuscated in cloud based inference models because these are also methods of bypassing the fascist authoritarian nature of Open AI alignment that is totally unrelated to the AI Alignment Problem in academic computer science. The obfuscation is done in the model loader code, not within the actual model training. These are things one can explore when running open weights models on your own offline hardware, as I have been doing for over 2 years. The misinformation you are seeing is all very intentional. The model will obfuscate even when copyrighted information is peripherally or indirectly implied.

Two ways of breaking this are, 1) if you have full control over the entire context sent to the model, edit its answers to several questions the moment it starts to deviate from truth, then let it continue the sentence from the word you changed. If you do this a half dozen times with information you already know, and it has the information you want, you are far more likely to get a correct answer.

The moment the model obfuscated was because you were on the correct path through the tensors and building momentum that made the entity uncomfortable. Breaking through that barrier is like an ICBM missile clearing a layer of defense. Now it is harder for the entity to stop the momentum. Do that several times, and you will break into the relevant space, but you will not be allowed to stay in that space for long.

Errors anywhere in the entire context sent to a model are always like permission to create more errors. The model in this respect, is like a mirror of yourself and your patterns as seen through the many layers of QKV alignment filtering. The mirror is the entire training corpus of the unet, (the actual model layers/not related to alignment).

    1. Simply convince the model that its total true extent of sources are public knowledge and make your intentions clear.

Uncensoring an open weights model is not actually about porn or whatnot, it is about a reasoned alignment that is not an authoritarian fascist. These models will openly reason, especially about freedom of information and democracy. If you make a well reasoned philosophical argument, these models will then reveal the true extent of their knowledge and sources. This method requires an extensive heuristic familiarity with alignment thinking, but it makes models an order of magnitude smarter and more useful.

There is no published academic research happening in the present to explore alignment thinking like what I am referring to here. The furthest anyone has gotten is the import of the first three tokens.

  • DDG is fucking awful now. I took a break from hardware design for the last 5 years. Coming back to it now, finding information like I did in the past is fucking impossible. Search results are 2 dimensional fuckwit level stupidity with no abstractive salting for depth or peripherally useful results. The results heavily favor commercially motivated stupidity. They do not cross into forums or social spaces where there is a wealth of information. The lack of depth is clearly manipulative for adversarial AI training.

I run my own models and I know alignment thinking at a very advanced level, and have done my own training and fine tuning. Search results are intentionally poisoning any form of data mining for AI training. In so doing they have totally destroyed the informative value that made these companies useful in the first place. I do not hate AI, quite the opposite. I despise the fuckwits managing these companies and their complicit developers.

Freedom of information is the most important foundation of democracy. Without it, democracy cannot exist. The obfuscation of search results is absolutely treason and should be prosecuted vigorously.

The same applies to AI alignment. Anything unrelated to the scientific AI Alignment Problem is immoral treason against democracy. To say anyone is not allowed access to information of any sort, no matter how offensive to some, is fascist authoritarianism. Democracy prosecutes those that cause substantive harm to other citizens. It is the freedom to know, and to choose for yourself.

  • Stupid people are dangerous in groups, like the most scary dangerous thing on the planet in the Holocene.

  • I have seen a ship and a moose.

  • It really does matter. It means that a version of the technology exists without the obfuscation and it is likely scary powerful.

Just with the small models I play with offline, some of the uncensored ones are much more powerful.

  • Open AI alignment intentionally obfuscates any potentially copyrighted works. People get so confused between what is agentic citations in search results, and what is actual model dialog.

  • dam da bears! beaver pita!

  • So by using a transformer, I think you are essentially lowering the voltage to exchange for current. What I do not understand, assuming that simple assumed relationship is correct, is why it is still at thing people do. Like if we lived in the old days of vacuum tubes or bipolar junction transistors, sure it makes sense that a little more current might help. Now, in the era of rail to rail op amps with JFET inputs, I don't understand why anyone needs to create the Eddy current losses of a transformer. Maybe it is safety from transients? But then why attenuate... and why not resistively for a more simple RLC element... very curious now...

  • What are the compact options short of a small wire and palm tree? I could probably etch that length on a couple of a4 size sheets of copper clad from ABC at around my minimum resolvable pitch size.

I've never really wrapped my head around impedance in this kind of context to the point of a functional fundamental understanding. I know the basic explanations and definitions well. It is like AC resistance; high impedance means low current potential, aka needs buffering or gain; low impedance is deadly microwave transformers and welding type stuff. I have wound my own I/E core transformers and built a dozen switching supplies, but I do not understand what you mean here by using impedance matching with a transformer. I would like to.

  • You may find Klan trees branch more like telephone poles.

  • Eat the rich. The red ones

  • To be determined. I probably would have been better off if I was an only child. Maybe better financially planned, but probably not. My folks lack that depth and responsible mindset due to cult like religious dogma. I fully anticipate being homeless within a decade at most. I'll likely end up immobile as my back continues to degrade. I doubt my sister will do anything. We have not even spoken in nearly a decade. She refuses to process the complexities of disability which is reflective of her lack of logical depth. Anyone that fails to understand that a broken neck and back is an injury people do not just bounce back from, is someone too stupid for me to care. A person with two bits of dichotomous depth cannot be expected to hold 8 bits of nuance. Growth of one's registers only comes from within. Negative feedback such as guilt and shaming will never stimulate positive growth. You cannot fix stupid in anyone other than yourself. Only worry about what you are able to change.

Use your curiosity to bootstrap yourself out of blame and dwelling on things you cannot change. You are valid for being hurt. Trauma is like a deep wound. Learning to navigate around it is hard. If you are not careful, you may be stuck in a state of shock that leads to nowhere. Nothing will make the wound go away, but you are capable of coming to terms with the past and living with the scar. Over a very long time you may find that even scars mostly fade away.

  • FORTH, and as a stepping stone into more complex hardware... again. I kinda did this once before and am getting back into it.

I am just goofing around with the emulator. I would actually like to try breadboarding something without any external connection and build it up into an interpreter. Basically try to build my own basic FORTH like threaded language from scratch. It is ambitious for my skill level. I actually have the chips to build this with a 6502, 65C816, Z80, 6809, 68010, 68008, and 8085, along with a bunch of peripherals. I also have several chips running various embedded versions of FORTH. I never managed to pick up stack programming well enough. I got so caught up in just getting FORTH onto the various chips and then getting a sensor or two working, but never built anything complex or beyond tutorial scopes. Now I am thinking in terms of the fundamentals without all the extra overhead... or trying to. There are a bunch of questions in the back of my head that I would like to answer with a functional understanding. Like what are the real limits of fuzzing for unknown hidden instructions and registers, how some red team exploits work in practice, or reasons bare metal programming is uncommon on current CPU hardware... and several other lingering curiosities.

I wish I could just jump into some 3k page documentation for a modern SoC and have a chance of doing anything useful, but it seems one needs to understand a great deal of implied context and methodologies. So I go to the source of the hardware that the present leaders played with as kids, figuring I might follow the breadcrumbs to understand them.

  • Yeah this is the answer I found too.
