  • OMG, yes! I've been running into so many rude/toxic comments lately. For me it feels like this place is devolving into Reddit again.

  • Well they got it right all three times sooo I'd say pretty good for me.

  • I've had 3 pfizer shots.

  • Yeah I got tested (RT-PCR) at a clinic too. COVID 19 confirmed. The rapid at-home test got it right all three times.

  • I got vaccinated too, like 3 times. The first time I got COVID was before the vaccine. Still got infected after but symptoms were more mild and recovery time was way faster. That first time without the vaccines were absolutely brutal.

  • I move around so much my cat has stopped sleeping with me LOL. He just comes to wake me up in the morning.

  • Very dead.

  • Jay hasn't responded yet. I'm still holding out hope. J2K is my favorite fork.

  • Soap is soap.

  • Their reasoning is sound. They don't want to defend against a corporation for a hobbyist project. There's already going to be a fork so that's good I guess. I just hope jay forks it for a J2K version.

  • I couldn't care less about the others. I have extremely strong opinions about TikTok though.

  • I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that the vast majority of people here don't have such a threat model. Our threat model is mostly preventing corporations like Google and Facebook from accessing our data. If your threat model is so advanced that you need to prevent tracking via connection to a cell tower (i.e state actors targeting you), the only thing you can do short of putting your phone in a faraday cage/taking out the cellular radios/ not having a phone at all is to turn on airplane mode. This is because your phone still maintains a connection to a cell tower without a SIM card.

  • Yeah, they're former Redditors. They don't read past the titles.

  • This is exactly the reason why I don't like F-Droid as a way to get apps. You'll have to trust an additional party when getting your apps, and updates are often a couple days behind. I prefer to get it straight from the developer's GitHub or Coderberg or whatever.

  • Anti-work can stay on Reddit. I'm sick of their bitching.

  • I have none because I'm broke af.

  • Probably social media like Facebook, Instagram, ... Or video sharing sites like TikTok (yuck!) and YouTube.
