  • Flex luncher is also the best I found so far. Only used it with openbox, so I was lacking the kdeconnect part, which sounds nice. I tried plasma-bigscreen, but that really didn't agree with me. I'm wondering why there is so little choice in this segment, as it feels like htpcs are a thing much longer than self hosting

  • Physics labs look like that too

  • They have a really weird definition of "upgrade"

  • Been using and hosting it probably for two decades, never any issues

  • My sincere condolences

  • You mean as a server os?

  • this was how I got my wow addiction back in 2005

  • So a regular story told by somebody with ADHD

  • Pretty much any AAA game. It's like going to the cinema to watch a movie, just the commercials beforehand never stop

  • When I set up opnsense with unbound I switched on detailed logs, just for checking what's going on and if course I forgot to turn it off, which resulted in horrible overall performance, in particular when the drive filled up and everything broke.

  • They asked for better buses, and Wi-Fi is by far the cheapest "upgrade"

  • TIL those exist on YT

  • I guess he means the NFC could be a simple push button. The rest, I agree. I would need something similar

  • Geez, is there a meme community without that constant bullshit spam?

  • I used it for a while. It eats up half your server just by existing ^^is a good system for the time, but now we have better alternatives.
