It became a thing in Lemmy 0.19 - as long as you're on an instance that has updated to that, it should be available to you. At the bottom of the settings page in the web ui, but if you use an app they might not expose that to you yet.
If it closes well enough that it can go in a bag or pocket, the handle doesn't matter as much. Thanks - since I don't go to many stores and I block as many ads as possible, I may have never known it existed.
ETA: I appreciate the suggestion and link. Something for me to look into, since I kinda do deserve nice things.
Yeah, I have one from Starbucks - it was a gift, and I don't know if they are all like this one - but the lid has a tendency to slosh and seep. At least it doesn't affect the flavor, tho! If I would just take half a cup, it would probably work - but then I have to go back more often.
I have a tendency to overlook the "shishi" brands (that cost more so you can have their logo? But what the hell, I don't even want a logo!) (Lol - conspicuous consumption kinda irks me) and don't have a ton to spend on expensive mugs one after another… but I guess I deserve nice things that let me live "normally," so maybe I should spend a shit ton on a single mug finally.
Anyway, thank you! Ceramic insides seem to be on my list of must-haves.
I can try a different kind of thermos again, why not.
Thank you, kind internet stranger.

ETA: That came out snarkier than I had intended. This is a problem that can be solved by buying new shit and risking it not working too. I'm just an idiot and an asshole. Sorry.
I appreciate your suggestion, and because you did nothing wrong, I've deleted each snarky reply that came out by reflex.
If you have a brand that doesn't leak, slosh, make my coffee taste like ass, or cost a shit ton of money, I'd take that suggestion far more seriously than
Omg, I can finally use my cane and carry more than one f*n thing at a time! Or - on a rough day - use my walker and carry my coffee without fear of a tiny bump into something spilling coffee everywhere! It's the little things like that that I miss
… just throw the second one away if nobody orders an espresso while it's still fresh. In a moderately busy bar excess espresso shots are not really a problem.
I used to hang out at a coffeehouse (in high school, I'd go with friends or alone - just to sit and read/write/draw) and the proprietors would always make a fresh pair of espressos for the one shot that would go into the latte or americano, then offer me the leftover shot of espresso (when it wasn't very busy and it would have gone to waste). But yep, two shots were made, every time.
We bought a copy of Heroes of Might and Magic V from GOG since I had never actually played any of them. It's from 2006, and is in a genre on the edge of my interests.
We also picked up 2 copies of Satisfactory to play together, but were too sick to deal with the bugginess of actually getting multiplayer to work.
Happy Holidays everyone! Hope you all are staying healthy ❤️
The generic and basic ones you might have to sit in a slightly different position depending on where you sit, but the more expensive ones have an arm that you can move forward or backward to aim where you need it. I use it almost all the way forward, husband uses it most of the way back.
How do you dry off?
Ours has a fan - you can adjust how warm the air is and how hard it blows (I don't like it too warm because it feels like it burns my asshole). You use the fan to get as dry as you want to - a lot like the machines that dry your hands at public restrooms, actually. When you're done, you're either dry enough to pull up your pants and wash your hands, or you use a lot less tp to dry the last few droplets.
But what do you do with Banana Liqueur in your house? Nothing mixes well with that.
Try mixing it with vanilla ice cream? I dunno, that sounds like it could be f'n delicious as one of those ice cream drinks (like grasshoppers are vanilla ice cream and creme de menthe)
Man, I don't know if it was as potent as it felt, or if it was just the anise flavor making it feel more so, but it seems like a good fit for college town bars 😄
I was so happy to hear that it's not unusual to serve it on the rocks and/or watered down. He referred to it as some kind of "milk"... "Lion's milk" maybe? (I maybe should have paid closer attention, but he was kind of a creeper)
That's basically what I tasted when I drank it - anise and intense alcohol is what I remember. It smelled/felt really strong, but I couldn't read the label at all so I have no idea what the proof actually was. At least making your own with a base like vodka you get to know that :-P
I had a bottle of Arak from Palestine, that a previous boss had imported, and then gifted to me. It's anise flavored, clear when warm, looks like a snow globe if you refrigerate it, and turns white when poured over ice. So neat, but it tasted like anise :-P
A Christmas Horror Story (2015) has been one of my favorites (since it came out, obviously) but my family doesn't usually let me pick the movies to watch because - and this is true - I like bad movies.
...Not like I only like bad movies, or all the movies that I like are bad... But I have a track record of liking movies that the rest of the fam thinks are bad.
I got greedy! 😅
