  • If it is not a direct fiber connection the I would not use it unless it’s the last resort.

If by streaming, you mean that you will be streaming content, then it will likely be terrible as the dropped packets will cause stutters in your video.

I imagine a secular connection will drop significantly more packets due to environmental interference that fiber and Ethernet is not really subject to.

  • This is still a stretch. Don’t consoles also have issues like this? What about the red ring Xbox 360s? Didn’t ps3 have issues with Skyrim saves becoming corrupt?

  • Before the steamdeck my gpu was an rx 740.

I never needed to tweak settings on a per game basis.

Just go into game options and hit auto detect or select a preset.

    It’s really that easy.

  • None of those are things people have to deal with except in very rare circumstances. All the driers are basically handled by windows update or are already in the kernel.

You do not need to do anything with antivirus these days.

Windows 11 makes you sign into an account, so do the consoles.

Pairing a Bluetooth controller technically is something you need to do, but let’s be honest. Is it really challenging?

  • I don’t think there is really much fiddling these days. It’s probably about as much as setting up a console.

If you build your own, then sure that’s more work. But people can buy prebuilt, laptops, or handhelds.

  • Console gaming is so anti-consumer. Who would prefer to use a console if they are even the slightest bit savvy with a computer?

  • Thanks, that totally makes sense. So much depth and secret ways to complete this game. Can’t wait to start a new file

  • Thanks! It looks like the pollen heart turned into a thing for my house.

  • I would have bought this, but it seems to have some compatibility issues with Linux.

I also own these games for GameCube, so I figured it works just be better to play my backups.

  • There is a critical work applications that I need. I’ve tried everything to get it to run on Linux, so I really can’t do it.

Bought a Mac instead to at least get away from windows. The day that app can run on Linux, I’ll be switching back to it.

  • Silksong mainly, I just bought doom eternal on sale and I’m going to buy hogwarts legacy after my refund for hades 2 credits my account.

I have about 20 hours of airports and airplanes coming up, so I have about 700gb of games.

  • I’ve been banned from a community on here before because I’m sure someone misread my comment.

My comment was clearly aligned with everyone else on the post, but I still got banned and mods did not respond to my messages about getting unbanned.

  • Yeah, I have that and basically used it as my default.

I’ve finished the game already and am now going back through each section to see what I can unlock still.

  • I guess there will also be mods for that kind of stuff too.

  • I was a big hollow knight fan and recently replayed it. I found silksong to be the perfect difficulty.

Although, now I think of it, I wish there were more pogo sections where you can’t touch the ground.

I’d also love an update that lets you play the game as the knight from the first game.

I think his move set could traverse the maps with maybe one exception, but they could pretty easily adjust those rooms for him.

  • Unless forced to do so by law and then Apple would kick and scream and do everything they could to “technically” follow the law without actually doing what the law intended them to do. Then they would drag it out in court for years.

  • Still better than windows.

  • I don’t have one, but I think they are overpriced for the specs you get.

Their goal is sustainability, but the outdated specs means I’d probably upgrade more frequently than I would with an iPhone where I can upgrade less often.

  • MAGA

    Jump
  • I’m a bit out of the loop, what’s this referring to?
