  • AuDHD gang represent 👊

  • Results from the quiz

    Monotropism Score: 175 / 235

    Your Average: 3.72

This score suggests that you are more Monotropic than about 11% of autistic people and about 83% of allistic people based on data from the initial validation study.

I feel like my ADHD is holding me back from getting a high score here. I can be a bit spontaneous and do multiple things at once. I also don't mind being interrupted (within reason) and I just can't stick to a routine.

  • Gets linked to a reddit post with someone having the exact same bug as me.

Comment 1: This comment has been deleted because of Reddit's api change, here is a link to lemmy lol

OP replying: OMG THIS FIXED IT THANKS!!

  • Could be worse:

     bash

    git commit --allow-empty-message -m ""

  • I first installed Ubuntu on a laptop in 2016. I started using linux full-time in 2017 with Ubuntu MATE and I'm now on EndeavourOS after trying these:

    • Ubuntu
    • Lubuntu
    • KDE Neon
    • Antergos
    • Manjaro
    • Arch

I use Debian and Arch on home servers, and I want to install OpenSUSE Slowroll to replace my Arch server (it hasn't broken yet)

As far as I'm concerned it's still 2018 and the year of the linux desktop....

  • Apparently not on lemmy.world

  • Isn't apt install firefox meant to install the snap version?

  • I think they mean peer to peer arrr

  • I use docker and I get issues sometimes. I will admit though, when I used the snap a few years back I had no issues whatsoever.

  • gdu - basically ncdu written in go and much faster

bim - really lightweight text editor inspired by vim

  • I had TOTP die for one user on my Nextcloud. I tried to disable it, but it "didn't exist". I tried to enable it, but it was already enabled. It would come up when I used occ twofactorauth:state user. I ended up fixing it by (force) disabling the app and re-enabling it. It didn't break any other user's TOTP and it fixed problem-user's TOTP. No idea what went wrong, but I get these random issues with Nextcloud sometimes.

The plus side to this is I've learnt how to use Mariadb and I've gotten better at debugging things.

  • I'm sorry, but we're gatekeeping "real" mental illnesses now? I know there's a lot of stigma around personality disorders, but it literally has disorder in the name. Like, c'mon.

Also, just because there's an excuse doesn't really change anything. A personality disorder could be an excuse, but it wouldn't make it ok or waive responsibility from terrible actions

  • Sorry, but bashmas is over here. It's bashing day now :)

  • I have a very modest 7 docker containers on a vm on my gaming rig and I have a raspberry pi for my DNS server. Honestly my setup is quite scuffed (in comparison to yours), but it does what I need it to do

  • I use Joplin mainly, but I've been trying QOwnNotes and Logseq out lately. All of them are pretty good imo

  • Trust nobody, not even yourself

  • For the 6000 series amd gpus corectrl can only offset the voltage and not control each voltage step like adrenalin can. The -30 would probably be a 30mV reduction to the gpu voltage, but it should tell you exactly what you're doing.
