Yeah, this is why an adult can learn a new language in a couple of months, whereas a newborn takes several years to grasp just the basics, and more than a decade to get good at it.

The important thing I remember from it was to scoop off anything floating after letting it sit for a few minutes. Probably a good idea to stir before letting it settle.
Do the flick back and forth thing WITH the descaling goop. A lot. Wait a couple minutes. Do it again. Repeat and repeat until someone complains about the noise.
Buy the best grinder you can afford. Buy a machine with the change. Kinda joking, but the quality of the grinder is what's gonna get you from "ok" to "amazing" flavours.
