I try to contribute to things getting better, with sourced information, OC and polite rational skepticism.Disagreeing with a point ≠ supporting the opposite side, I support rationality.Let's discuss to make things better sustainably.Always happy to question our beliefs.

  • What about when you know how to do it, and you will be happy to have it done, but you know it's going to be annoying, and you're going to hate it, so you push it back as much as you can.

  • I also tried 1 long after release and couldn't get over the clunkyness and how much studying it requires to play. But I really enjoyed the 2, I even replayed it to see the other side of the story after the big branching, which is something I almost never do with games.

  • I would eat well cooked insects even if mammal meat is not banned. Even more so if the environmental benefit is demonstrated. I bet you can do some falafel style paddies from insect flour and some spices, fried in olive oil and you probably don't notice where it comes from anymore.

  • The only trustworthy solution is for your son to date some distant little cousin of Trump. Then he'll get an Ivy League diploma for free and maybe some government position.

  • Yes, the fuck.

    1. Human rights as a consensual starting pooint of what is good.
    2. Rational skepticism, ranking knowledge/belief based on the proximity to an international scientific consensus.
    3. Expressing my opinions and questioning others opinions in a polite and nuanced way that allows civilized discussion. It increases the chance of common progress rather than strengthening tribal bubbles.
  • As long as journalism quality is respected that's not an issue.

  • If the marketing has the power to go over the journalism to change the titles, isn't it a symptom that things are going downward for this media?

  • No other choice than sticking with the few reputable media that still don't do that. Gotta support them so they don't fall into that too.

  • You need to block anisocial lewd communities, a few dozens.

  • Only if they come from Wink, Winkler County, Texas. Otherwise they are just sparkling eyelead carrier and receiver.

  • I guess this means your parents are from China too? If yes, then they grew up in a country were demonstrating against the government gets you rolled over by tanks. They have been taught that politics is not something for the people, the party takes care of it for them and they should just focus on being good hard working citizens. So, I would think their behavior is a mix of fearing for your life, which they value way more than politics, and an ingrained lack of faith in the people being able to change politics.Consider this bias and make your personal choice, especially if you're legally an adult.

  • Agreed, especially if you're writing to someone who's not completely fluent in the language. Also use short sentences and common vocabulary.

  • It looks like a rotor made of human flesh.

  • The NIH article seems to support your point.

In conclusion, our results from a large cross-cultural sample demonstrate that women’s preferences for male facial masculinity are positively associated with economic development and individual differences in sexual openness, which complements findings from cross-cultural studies of men’s preferences for women’s facial femininity67. However, we found no evidence that indices of male-male competition (i.e. homicide rates and income inequality) were predictors of women’s facial masculinity preferences. Future cross-cultural research quantifying women’s mate preferences for facial masculinity that include individual differences data among participants from small-scale to more urban settings regarding their fear of violence would be valuable30. For the present, our findings suggest that in countries with more favourable social, ecological and economic conditions, wherein any costs of selecting less paternally investing masculine partners may be reduced, women’s preferences for facial masculinity are higher.

  • How do you know this is biological and not a social construct? I am afraid your opinion is based on a lot of stereotypes.

  • What's your age range? I think it's possible more younger women would want the stereotypical masculine man, but I think over 30 and maybe earlier, women tired by the superficial masculinity would be attracted by your kind of personality. Personally I like a balance of both.

  • What is your "most women" based on, personal experience?

  • I read a lot of tech bros saying what they did is easy because they used (illegally?) the chatgpt API for part of their model training. But it seems this kind of performance actually means better engineering, doesn't it?I'm glad a different country is able to challenge top USA tech, but I wish EU could do it together too. For now it seems we're mostly able to duplicate American products with added GDPR compliance.

  • It could be hilarious to have those censored in some countries and turned into old timey expressions.

God fucking damn it! -> Great Googly Moogly!
