  • Thank you!

  • Yeah, I’m trying to find out who the original is as I’d just prefer to order from them directly. But most likely they don’t do B2C. I saw a suggestion for Ali Express may get closer to the source. I just hate going to a third party

  • This is why AGI is way off and any publicly trained models will ultimately fail. Where you’ll see AI actually be useful will be tightly controlled, in house or privately developed models. But they’re gonna be expensive and highly specialized as a result.

  • Wait. UE is an engine. A game should use an engine, not the other way around. What am I missing here?

  • Anyone know where I can actually get my hands on a B580 for non-scalped prices? I’ve been monitoring multiple sites for months and either it hasn’t come up or get snatched up in minutes

  • Chūnibyō (中二病, lit. 'middle-school second-year syndrome') is a Japanese colloquial term typically used to describe adolescents with delusions of grandeur. These teenagers are thought to desperately want to stand out and convince themselves that they have hidden knowledge or secret powers.

  • Probably not that many since I carefully curate my list and generally only listen to local artists or international that I’m familiar with.

  • This is one service I pay for and never had had to worry about ads. I can skip around, download and work it just like my offline music with no differences

  • Old school 4chan

  • We did it 1,500 miles across multiple states. Also when we ordered new servers we ordered fully built and cabled racks, shipped from HP in Juarez to our doors in giant crates, 52U high, fully cabled. Unpack, plug in power and uplinks and the entire rack was ready to go. We were getting like 2-3 of those a week.

  • Funny thing is, I’ve relocated DCs too and we did the opposite. We had rolling racks and we wrapped the entire rack with everything still in it and did a padded wrap with anti-tip indicators.

The biggest thing to watch out for was we used a temperature controlled truck to ensure there wasn’t a swing in humidity or temps to cause condensation and then let the racks sit in the new locations for 24 hours before power on

Moving 85 racks with literally hundreds of disks and we only lost 4 disks over the next 6 months which was in line with our normal failure rate. No need to tear down and re-rack.

  • “You got a 1kW PSU for your rig? Nah, just for the proc”

I know these aren’t for home, but in the US/Japan/Canada/Mexico you’re gonna start seeing the need for dedicated breakers. A lot of apartments skimped and put in 10-15 amp breakers, which can (safely) support 960-1440 watts. A 20 amp breaker can do 1,900 watts at least, but again that’s usually for an entire room. Not just a single device.

Edit: added a few more countries that use 110/120V to illustrate it’s not just a US issue.

  • Gives new meaning to ignorance is bliss…

But seriously, take solace in the fact that you can never know everything about something. Physics, math, random subjects, you name it. The world and knowledge forever increase. So there is no way in your lifetime you’ll ever fill a chamber. Thinking you can is limiting hubris on your end. The more you learn, the more you’ll realize there’s so much you don’t know.

  • Does the same format work for a user or post?

  • Reminds me of the ERB with Burger King and Ronald, but more serious.

  • Spread your hole a little bit before letting it rip. It’s because it’s blocked either because you’ve been sweaty, you nasty or you jacked off and it dried on the tip.

  • Joke ——->

    You

  • I’m curious how you can take it back if I no longer have it. Say I spend it on activities and services, how can you recover it? Physical goods, you might be able to take those.

  • Interestingly my iPhone will autocorrect ducking to fucking for me. Guess I use it enough?

Texting has probably enabled more affairs recently

  • No Stupid Questions @lemmy.world

Does different parts of the world use different standards for water pressure similar to voltages?

People who still wear masks (and aren't immunocompromised)...

When have you ever gone off on your boss? What was the result?

Those of you that went back to your old job/company, why?
