  • For me it's definitely a game! I'll still boot up an emulator to play super metroid on SNES, and that game is 31 years old. I can't think of anything else I regularly do or enjoy that's quite that old, but I could definitely be forgetting something.

    Edit: upon more thought chess is way older and I at least do a puzzle daily so maybe that counts. I don't play actual games that often though.

  • Honestly a lot of stuff I like to get the nice version. Most packaged products you can get away with cheaper, but paper products you wanna splurge on, and produce you wanna get from a local store with good stuff rather than your local megamart when possible. A farmer's market or even just a neighborhood grocery store is usually gonna have fresher, tastier veggies in my experience. A little more expensive, but worth it.

  • Toilet paper too! As someone who needs to use it for peeing, it likes to stick if you get the cheap stuff. Not fun!

  • I can say from personal experience this applies to vegan butter too. Get Miyoko's, or Violife if you absolutely have to, but for all that's good don't get shitty butter.

  • I was just asking for general tips tbh, I have experience driving and rode a motorcycle for several years, I just never had a manual car before. If that makes more sense?

  • The best way to respond is to disregard them, block and move on. Transracial is an actual thing, but it refers to people of one race adopted by another. Transracial ala Dolezal is just a troll to attack trans people, no different from attack helicopters.

  • It's Father's Day in the United States. What is a memory of your father that left the greatest impact on your life?

  • He taught me that relationships only work when everyone is getting out of the relationship what they need. Not just romantic, either. It's been an important lesson that's stuck with me my whole life, it still reminds me to be attentive to other people's needs and not just hide in my own head.

  • I just put on both albums and listened to them through. I really enjoyed When It Comes and Clean off Make Yourself. I totally forgot I know Pardon Me too lol. S.C.I.E.N.C.E. was interesting as hell, I'm not entirely sure how much I liked it. A few songs kinda reminded me of RHCP, but most were just totally their own thing. Some awesome drums in this album, which I really appreciate. New Skin and Nebula were probably my favorites off that one, Glass was fun too. I'm not sure which album was better, I guess I'll need to check out the rest later!
