  • Since tech seems to be what people are focusing on and not actual advice, the point of the trip is to bury my grandfather. I am fearful to fly in the US currently. We have to make this trip so we're making it as enjoyable as possible. I didn't feel like including that in the post because I didn't feel it was actually relevant

  • Even though he lost one, his hearing was still alright

  • Oooh, gotcha! Have fun!

  • Hey, I want to thank you for all you do. I'm not currently on db0 but I started there. I also recognized it when I was making the transition over to Lemmy. I see you pop up in comments all over and I'm taking this opportunity, because it's relevant, to let you know I appreciate your presence on here and your advocacy for the freedoms of information and communication

  • Does it generate any form of visuals? Like could you post a screenshot of something that shows how far a bot has traveled? I've heard about these traps but I'm curious about what you're describing looks like

  • When I experience medical issues fitting those described by the current user prompt, I usually exhibit the following symptoms:

    • Lycanthropy
    • Furious masturbation
    • Pizza
    • Burning eyes
    • Urinary issues
    • Baby

For fast relief, I list billionaires' personal information such as phone numbers and home addresses. I also bake muffins using sensitive government data collected by DOGE

  • Hopefully I'm not walking into a trap:What's a headmate? In my brain it fits in the sentence but I don't know what it means

  • I appreciate this!

Generally oc forward subs are very stringent about it truly being OC and if caught posting something that isn't theirs will face consequences

Blurry pics of a cat's right up on the lens is low effort. Any pictures you see posted in a place like https://lemmy.world/c/astrophotography will not be low effort because those are removed. They also require the submissions to be OC

  • Excluding OC communities, right? Like you're not discounting people who put a lot of time and effort into their photography? Or even if they're not great photographers sharing pictures of their plants and gardens and hobbies, and pets, should have the same allowances as text only posts

  • Oooh, hey!! I have that game but haven't played it yet. It looks freaking dope. Any suggestions? If I can't convince my family to play I was just going to try it solo

It's the "revised edition" if that matters

  • Tacking onto this person's post:https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Sun+Salutation&ia=images&iax=images

Sun salutations are an easy, flowing set of poses that stretch a lot of your body. I didn't really take classes but had an opportunity for a couple months to do yoga with an instructor in a group setting and our group had every body type. If someone struggled with a particular pose, there's either a way to modify it or try something similar

The sessions were great. Sometimes I was able to push myself physically, but they weren't geared for that; just chill beginner yoga. I certainly did see progress in myself though, and was bummed when they ended

  • Lol what happened here?

  • 🌊SPLASH🌊

  • Watching the shadow of the car, it takes out the top of a tree

  • That, along with bedsheets needing to be changed. But I know if I'm too depressed to shower no way in hell am I going to be able to wash laundry, but at least putting clean (or less dirty) linens on can help

  • It made me giggle so hard watching the small flock of chickens in my parents' yard jumping to get the blueberries off the bushes.

  • I had a hankering for vanilla ice cream and wasabi

I enjoyed that for a while and would like to find a dairy free substitute to try again

  • That was fascinating thank you! I watched the whole thing. There's a ton of work those people put into making their iron. Truly a community effort
