  • It'd be fucking awesome if there was a coop, milsim/realism scp game, just like GTFO. Something that let's you play as a 9 tail fox squad.

It'd be so cool being dropped into a level, identifying the threats and SCPs, then also having to juggle them whilst engaging active threats.

Itd also be great to find SCP objects that you could interact with or use to your advantage during the level. Maybe even equipable.

  • Chumbawumba

  • Bold to assume leaders would ever suffer the consequences of their own policy.

  • I'd be too worried about the CCP backsliding, but if it theoritycally collapsed, and the ROC swooped in to take its place, then yeah I'd be fine with it. Better than Trump's america

  • Maybe add a "Lemmy mode" since Lenny uses symbols to mark italics, bold, etc, and causes a lot of emoticons to bug out

    Like ¯ (ツ) _/¯ when it should be ¯ (ツ) _/¯

  • Yep. Same thing happened with me.

  • How fucking hard it is to remember daily and recurring tasks. Taking meds, brushing teeth, checking email, cleaning up, cooking, laundry, on top of stuff related to work.

Another one is that we are blind. Unless I expect to see it, I cannot see it. I literally dont see clutter. Only when I force myself to think about what I'm staring at do I realize there is a bunch of crap on a table. Its really easy for my room to get messy because of this. Because it hardly exists for me.

  • Wayyyy ahead of you pal. Got into tech when I was a wee little lad, my dad would bring home computers from the work dumpster, hand me a screw driver and let me go at it.

When I was 11 I built a computer with my dad, and continued learning about tech and computers. I worked after school in middle school to help out the librarian, who had the job of looking after the laptops and computer carts.

Went into highschool and got into a Comptia± honors class, as the only freshman and the only person to get As in that class.

Fresh after highschool and 6 months into a computer job, I quit at the age of 19. Instead I went to pursue woodworking.

I had a great boss, and I was great at my job, but I was in computer repair. A dying industry and I was getting paid minimum wage, despite a lot of skill (microsoldering, logic board rework, macbook repair, liquid damage repair, etc).

Skill and knowledge that I studied for a decade, and I was being paid minimum wage. There were probably better opportunities but I wasn't interested anymore. The environment was just far too corporate, so I decided to start building my own business, woodworking, selling tools, and help teach.

Ive gone to tool events, tuned up a lot of tools, and given presentations and its 10x more fulfilling. Havent made a lot from the "business" but I'm happy.

  • Yeah exactly. People dont realize that leather is a byproduct of the meat industry. Most of the cost is in tanning and preparing it.

So trust me, there is no shortage of skin to make leather

  • "Infinite content" games where studios are dedicated to make games that drip feed new content by making you grind for hours and hours.

Stuff like looter shooters, destiny and gacha games. They such wastes of life. Imagine all the good games and experience you could have had, instead of grinding to the powercap

  • I love this image. Something that always confused me is that they are communist, but support russia? An extremely far right government?

  • I think LLMs could be great if they were used for education, learning and trained on good data. The encyclopedia Britannica is building an AI exclusively trained on its data.

It also allows for room for writers to add more to the database, to provide broader knowledge for the AI, so people keep their jobs.

  • For me its been total shit. Inflation, and shrinkflation dug it's claws deep. Two tiny paddies, between 3 big buns. Take one big bite and it tastes like nothing.

On top of shit quality, prices have been going nuts. A big Mac near me is 8$. 8$ for one! Not a meal deal with a drink or fries included, just one burger!!!

Thats nearing the price of actually good places like five guys and other local joints that are like $12-16. The small burger from them probably has twice the meat of a bigmac. The bigmac is now a kid sized Burger.

Also ice cream machine always fucking broken.

  • Yes, cause I work in a dusty environment. If you see dust or particulates in your snot, thats in your lungs too and you should start wearing a respirator.

  • Spread so much misinformation that AI becomes nearly unusable.

  • Yeah, I saw these on my way to, and out of London.

  • When packaging on food specifies that it has REAL ingredients , like REAL CHEESE and REAL HONEY.

We've gotten so good at producing fake, artificial flavors that we need to specify when our food is real.

Also new facial scanners at airports

  • Nothing changes does it?

Also I'm not sure if I'd me more or less scared of death. If this is a simulation, to escape reality, I can't imagine how terrible reality would really be.

  • There are a lot of local businesses that I could immediately tell had ai images on their website. Smaller shops, that probably also dont know the negative connotation with ai, or just dont care
