  • Exactly, this is why the most 'important' person just uses a phone they are the most efficient with the smallest screen

  • From my understanding its just more features and up to date, my reasoning mainly was if you go bazzite on desktop might as well use it on steamdeck so you have a similar experience across your devices

  • If all you do is use a browser and game then bazzite is solid.

If you do more stuff then fedora might be the way to go.

I started with popos but since its more on a stable ideology updates to stuff take much longer which is why I started looking around to try all the lingo I've heard about on Lemmy like KDE Wayland immutable atomic etc etc

  • I wipe any fat or oil with a paper towel into the trash. then I rinse it with soap and water and I have a regular plastic brush I use to wash it.

After I dry it off with a paper towel and heat it up and add some avocado oil then wipe the excess all around

  • If you use steamdeck I'd check out bazzite. You can use the deck image for your steamdeck and desktop image for PC and then you won't have to worry about big differences.

I switched to Linux about 2 years ago now and its been fine. The only games that don't work are ea games like battlefield or Activision like cod

I don't really like to mess with it so I just use the default settings on almost everything unless there is an issue then I check protondb to see if there are any solutions, usually all you need to do is go to the game properties in steam and select for use a different version of proton and it runs fine

  • Hey thats me, daily installing rocky Linux, I get paid for it even

  • I thought at least 24 hours was the requirement

  • I thought you were calling it a POS but when I looked it up its actually a POS

  • I guess since its a gaming article they have to show why bandai has any relation to gaming

  • Hopefully passwords are encrypted so the hackers get useless data

  • That happened to me but it lasts like a month. No one in the house could watch YouTube lol

  • Mmm al pastor

  • You can set Firefox to purge everything when you close it, not sure why its not set as default

  • Very cool I was just looking at a crucial 2tb 2230 on prime, hoping for a 4tb

  • We are kind of dealing with this too, our city has been expanding a lot and now our little street where we normally walk to the grocery store or to downtown for events is being used as a way for people to get around the traffic from the main road so it sucks to walk.

They haven't installed speed bumps or stop signs so its hard to cross most streets, even worse they are removing some cement islands that diverted traffic from taking some of the small streets to let traffic flow through. Now traffic is going more through our lower income area and avoiding the wider roads of the higher income neighborhoods that it used to

  • Isn't that how it is, hence the meme that people accumulate bloteware* over time because they keep installing and not using but not going back and uninstalling,

At least for me I'd open up the package manager and see all these new and recommended software and think oh cool I'll get into ASCII art if I install this, and of course never actually run it, last time I had like three metronomes

  • There's magic earth that does traffic and similar to waze but since no one uses it around me its more great
