I'm so glad that the US economy is based on moving money around between vast dragon hoards instead of making actually useful stuff that improves everyone's daily life.
I disagree as part of being a history 4X means that peopl will expect historical events to occur. And PI have repeatedly made it clear that they want their games to have an expansion/contraction element to make each playthrough feel unique beyond just the pop-up stories that occur. Civilizations trnd to collapse/struggle at the conclusion of theor Golden Age. Just look at The UK and US for a modern example.
On my 18th birthday i went to my dream school and found out i didn't file my paperwork properly and would not be able to start that semester. Then i had a miserable time moving to Texas with my family before going to said dream school in the woring semester. Where i proceeded to crash out hard after my grandmother and uncle died a month apart, forcing me to go back to Texas for what was probably the most miserable year of my life. I didn't party, i just stayed in and played video games like BF4, Civ V, and EU4 when I wasn't arguing with my long distance girlfriend. Sometimes i worry that i really fucked my life up as a teenager, but i also doubt it would have made much difference.
That crackdown was coming regardless. Idk how to tell y'all any more clearly, but the fascists are going to escalate no matter what we do. Your options are to either fight back or roll over.
He didn't even have that much. He was using the "value" at time of writing and not at time of loss. The writer would have likely held onto the crypto currency until after the next crash and would be just as screwed
I like the early generation where the whole point of the meme was to call libertarians pedophiles
